One of the most memorable experiences on Tenerife

I was part of a small group of around 15 people. Daniel established friendly atmosphere right from the get go.
Daniel is a very passionate man and it is refreshing to hear someone speak with so much passion and excitement, it is contageous. The experience is all you could hope for, sunset, cava, coats, stars and enough time for everything. Another 2 guides who took care of the telescope and photos were also friendly and humorous.

Definitely recommend and will most likely do it again when I come back to Tenerife.

Great experience

Our tour guides Dani and Mike (telescope guy) were very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. The group size was also very small compared to other large groups we saw on the way. Glad we went with them. The pictures they took at the end of each person turned out great as well.

Excellent!

We did this last night and I can’t praise it highly enough! We took my parents who are in their 80’s. Although the terrain was a bit rough and mom needed extra help, Mike was an absolute gentleman and looked after her so well. He also got a good rapport with her and they had great banter! There was cava at sunset, a free photo with the stars, and best of all, it was a small group making it feel like we all got the attention and info you could want. There was a supply of warm coats in the van for anyone who needed an extra layer. Knowledge of the skies was excellent. Steve was full of knowledge and eve n offered my partner advice on night sky photography.

A perfect evening! Knowledgeable and friendly guide, amazing telescope and small group (much better than the large coaches!) pick up & drop-off was also included!

Well worth it!

Second time doing this tour with Steve, first time with Danny and Mike!

A present for my mum’s birthday and what a great experience it was! 6 of us as a family and another small bus, nice smaller group and plenty to look at with the binoculars, Mike with the big telescope and Danny talking you through the rest, all very knowledgeable and personable guys.

Sunset was incredible, as was the cava and the astrophotography we didn’t have the first time round was great, I never knew how long 15 seconds was until I had to stand still 😄 all worth it for the incredible pictures with the night sky especially the Seven Sisters (Pleiades).

Got to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter etc and the ISS!

All in all a wonderful night, thank you so much guys!

Stargazing in a small group

We had a great time with our guides Daniele & Steve. We were picked up at our hotel. We were a small group of about 12 people, so it was easy to follow the guides‘ explanations. They took the time to answer individual questions. We first stopped right above the clouds with a spectacular view on La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. The sunset was wonderful, we had a glass of cava and had time enough to take pictures and enjoy the view. Afterwards, we drove up the mountain and started the stargazing part. Daniele and Steve gave us a lot of interesting info supported by the Laserpointer (which works miraculously great!) and the telescope. We got very lucky and had great conditions with only few clouds. finally, Steve took pictures of everyone with an astrophotography camera.
All in all, it was a great evening! Highly recommended!
Don’t forget your jackets though, it gets very chilly!

Close but no stars.

Just to let everyone know this is a reliable and good quality company. Unfortunately the weather beat us and we couldn’t do the trip, we were available for another night and they tried to reschedule, but again too cloudy. We had very good comms throughout and got a full refund within a couple of days without chasing so no bother at all. They seem like a good bunch so give it a whirl (like a milky way…) and I hope you get up the hill, we’ll try again another year x.

Well organised, excellent friendly servic

We booked a star gazing tour. Steve told us the weather forecast was uncertain and gave us the option to cancel before setting out.
He took us up to Tiede where we had time to explore the Roques de García at sunset.
It was cold and soon began to snow and visibility became very poor making stargazing impossible. We set off back down without using the telescope .
Steve stopped at a lower level on the way down , visibility was better and he used a laser pointer to tell us about the huge array of stars we could see.
He did not charge for the trip and offered to take us up again the following night which we didn’t do.
The whole experience was very well organised in a friendly efficient manner and whilst we were disappointed not to have the full experience I would have no hesitation in booking again next time we are in Tenerife when hopefully the weather will be better.

No Santa Cruz pick up despite address on Trip Advisetlr

The address given for our pick-up was advertised as Santa Cruz where we are staying. In fact it is nowhere near here. They have not responded to any messages. A company rep phoned me last night possibly by mistake and quickly said he’d phone back and hung up but did not. I need to get a refund.

This poor man is delusional we attended the pick up point clearly stated on Viator paperwork The Gara Suites golf and spa in playa de las americas. But as in every address in Tenerife it ends on santa cruz de tenerife which is the province where playa de americas is I phoned him last night to find out where he was as we were at the hotel stated and he wasnt there so as he had made us late for other customers we had to move on and pick up other people. I offered a future date but he was going home the next day. We do not pick up from the city of Santa cruz it is 70km outside our collection area and would be impossible to provide a service to pick up there I hope trip advisor removes this review as its clearly not out fault.
