Miquel is a wonderful Jewish history guide

Miquel was amazing! It was our first day in Girona and what a great way to start. Highly recommend his tour before going to the Jewish Museum in Girona. We all had a good understanding of the history through Miquel so the Museum was throughly enjoyable as we felt like historians! Miquel is a must if visitng Girona and want to learn about its Jewish history!

A day in Girona

We couldn't get a guided tour, but read other's trios and got a map. It was Sunday, so everything closed by 2:00 pm. But we toured the Jewish museum which gave us the history of Girona. Then we wandered through various old areas, windy streets, lots of stairs. We walked along most of the City walls, great views. I would've liked to see the Arab baths, but it was closed. The colourful houses along the river were attractive. If you like walking through Old Cities, take a day trip from Barcelona.

Fabulous day tour of Girona and Besalu!!

If you are looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and personable guide of Girona and environs, look no further than Miquel of Girona Tours. We had a fabulous day from the pickup at Girona train station till drop off. Miquel really gives you the Catalan perspective and vibe of the city. We appreciated his knowledge of Jewish history and sites of the area. Highly recommend!!!

A most beautiful day with an excellent guide! Miquel was so knowledgeable and so patient on our tours around Girona and Besalu. He found precisely how to connect with my US graduate students. He weaved recent and more distal history throughout our visits. He understood the complexity of Jewish live in the region and extended students’ understanding of the role of the Jewish people in Spain. I highly recommend Miquel for any group tours!

Miquel was amazing. I learned many new things like identifying gothic or other styles of architecture which i am still using when seeing other cities. The speed of the tour was very good and we took our time to see things. Miquel was very knowledgeable and the Girona Trips is the best way to see girona and its surrounding.

Best day of our trip!

Our day with Miquel was the highlight of our week in Barcelona! He met us at the train station and took us to the most beautiful coastal town of Tossa de Mar in the morning. It was magical! We came back to Girona for lunch and an afternoon of exploring this amazing town and learning about the history. Miquel was a fantastic guide, incredibly knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the day with. We felt like we made a new friend. His communication before our trip was excellent too. Don't think twice, book your tour with him!

Miquel was amazing!! He met us at the train station and it felt like we were meeting an old friend. We asked loads of questions about Catalonian history and he always had an answer. He tailored the trip to our needs and interests, and we are so thrilled we found him. Highly recommend having Miquel show you around this beautiful little city!

Girona Trips. La mejor empresa, el mejor guía...

Estuvimos en Girona del 12 al 20 de noviembre de 2019. Eramos un grupo de 7 mexicanos mayores de 50 que somos amigos desde hace 30 y queríamos celebrar juntos nuestros años de amistad. Decidimos contratar TODOS los tours de GIRONA TRIPS y definitivamente fue la mejor decisión. Miquel, nuestro guía nos hizo sentir como en casa, nos llevó a los mejores lugares, nos dio las mejores sugerencias para las comidas y siempre trató de que estuvieramos cómodos. Viajar con GIRONA TRIPS ha sido la mejor manera de conocer los mas importantes pueblos de Cataluña y la Costa Brava sin prisas, sin itinerarios forzosos ya nuestro paso. Sin duda volveremos, Gracias Miquel, Gracias GIRONA TRIPS!!! Sergio Quinones / Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico.

Beautiful Girona!

I found Miquel, Girona trips, on line while looking for a guide. Miquel is a fabulous guide and I do hope you book him for your trip to Girona and the surrounding area. Miquel is an excellent communicator. From my initial email, Miquel responded in a very timely manner with plenty of suggestions. I asked a lot of questions and he never seemed to be annoyed. What Miquel carries is love for Girona, knowledge, energy and a great sense of humour. We were 4 in our group who wanted to learn about Girona and its history, see the Jewish quarter in Besalu, learn about the architecture, and hike-Miquel took us to picturesque Hostalets d'en Bas for a full day of walking paths of Cami Ral. Miquel has a car too so all your transport is looked after. We happened to be there during a huge protest of a million people and we needed to get to Barcelona after-Miquel took the time to find a safe way to get us there and checked in with us of our safe arrival. Beyond a kind gesture.

Girona is beautiful

Visited Girona in September. The ancient town is beautiful and well-preserved. It is also tastefully mixed with the modern additions. From there it was easy to visit Dali places: Pubol for Gala’s house, Figueres for Dali museum and Cadaqués for his house. The Carlemany hotel were we stayed was excellently positioned to be close to everything. People are very friendly and open for conversations. The city is safe and much cheaper than Barcelona
