Walking with Bernat who guides you through Tarragona is a beautiful journey of discovery in time and space. By describing what is surrounding you, illustrated by his maps, you find yourself launched into the previous centuries and located in a Roman town, a medieval city, a 18th C. house, ... and then in a contemporary street. So easy to imagine thanks to the stories and clearly mapped illustrations.
Tireless and always ready to answer questions or to give more explanations.
If ever again in Tarragona, I'd like to put on y walking shoes for another exploration of Tarragona with Trails and Culture.

Bernat was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable, it was not rushed, and because it was private it made it that much more enjoyable. Definitely an excursion we will talk about for years to come. Highly recommend this tour!

We booked two tours with Bernat: a partial day "Unforgettable Tarragona" tour for the morning we arrived in Tarragona, as well as a full day tour to the Priorat wine region.
Bernat is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. With his expertise and planning, we were able to make the most of our short visit to the Tarragona region.
For the "Unforgettable Tarragona" tour, Bernat met us at our hotel, and we set off on foot for our tour. Our walking tour of Tarragona was very informative and interesting (especially with Bernat's thorough explanation and historical context).
Bernat worked with us via e-mail in advance of the trip to help us build an itinerary for our full day tour to the Priorat region; he put together a great day that included visits to multiple wineries, a dining reservation, and a visit to the very special, picturesque town of Siurana. The people we met at the wineries were all very kind and gave us interesting tours and educational tastings. Our winery visits were private and felt very exclusive. We enjoyed lovely wines, were blessed with fabulous weather, and had a wonderful day.
And during our full day tour, our visit to Siurana was particularly special. Bernat took some excellent photographs for us. The lighting was perfect.
I must also add that it was a very unique opportunity to visit the Roman aqueduct. And to make the experience that much more exclusive, we just happened to have the aqueduct to ourselves during our visit.
I highly recommend a visit to Tarragona and the surrounding areas. It was nice to get away from the hustle and noise of Barcelona, and to enjoy the history and beauty of this city. We also thoroughly enjoyed the day trip that Bernat arranged for us to the Priorat region.

This was the best tour we had while visiting Spain. The guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. He was also extremely patient and kind, slowing the pace due to an ankle injury in our group. He also made lots of great recommendations on other things to do while we were in the area when he learned we would be in town a bit early. Highly recommend.

We of course loved all the Roman sites but the best part of the tour was our knowledgeable guide. If we had questions he was able to answer in depth. He tailored the tour to our interests and situation, which was great. His English was excellent, having worked a year for Hilton in Scotland. He’s from Barcelona (where he was also a tour guide) but has been in Tarragona for 5 years. His passion for the history of the town made all the difference. We would have had a far less interesting visit to Tarragona if we had not done this tour!

Bernat was extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly. The details and sights provided on the tour are unmatched. Even as a solo traveler, I did not feel my experience was less than a group tour.
