Interesting Flamenco Dance with View of Dancers' Legs & Feet Completely Blocked

I had booked my evening at Casa Patas long before leaving the U.S. & was escorted to my corner table to be seated next to a single lady like myself, but she was from Chile. The music was rousing and the dancers were enthusiastic, but unfortunately, 90% of the dancers' movements were entirely limited to their legs and feet. Well, we could see nothing due to the crowded club full of the heads and bodies of others in front of us blocking the view. Perhaps the stage should have been higher?? I went to 4 other flamenco shows in Madrid, Seville, & Granada all of which were superior in every respect to this one. The cost of the ticket and the poor seating arrangement were not worth the price. Unless you're in the front row, take a pass.

First time for flamenco - show was different than expected

Having never been to flaminco before, I admit having a lot of misconceptions. I thought the show would consist of many men and women dancing at the same time.
Actually, there was a band of 5 musicians/singers and only one man and one woman who danced. There were only 3 or 4 dancing numbers, and other times it was just the band. The show was enjoyable, just different than expected.
As a side note, we booked this with the tapas - which were good, but honeslty I think we were the only people there who ate anything. So my advice would be just to book the show and eat elsewhere.

Premessa! Abbiamo acquistato un pacchetto completo in cui era compresa l’hammam, la cena e lo spettacolo di flamenco! ...parliamo della cena... “l’antipasto” era composto da un piattino di olive di dubbia qualità! Poi potevamo scegliere tra il Salmorejo e l’uovo rotto con patate e Jamon.. il salmorejo era veramente piccolo e il prosciutto aveva un odore molto forte.. quasi stantio! Come portata principale avevamo la scelta tra Cazón de Adobo (bocconcini di squaletto fritti e gommosi.. pesce che costa molto poco) e Rabo de Toro (coda del toro...). Al di là del fatto che non era contemplata una scelta vegetariana (capisco la cultura ma siamo nel 2020) mi sono sentita presa in giro in quanto “turista da spennare” dato che ho pagato questo pacchetto 98 euro a persona, l’hammam da solo ne costa 37...la differenza fatela voi! Come dolce solo riso con latte!
Note positive: lo spettacolo di flamenco e la ragazza all’accoglienza che è stata davvero gentile!

Sentimos que el menú no fuera de su agrado. Se trata de un menú cerrado incluido en la oferta, que no incluye opción vegetariana y que usted conocía cuando lo adquirió. De todas formas valoraremos la opción de incluir una alternativa vegetariana como sugiere. De los 98€, 37€ corresponden a los servicios de Hamman, 40€ al espectáculo y 21€ a la cena. Se trata de una oferta que incluye más de 5 horas de ocio en diferentes espacios y disfrutando de diferentes servicios. Si usted hubiese indicado a nuestro equipo de sala que alguno de los platos no era de su agrado se le habría retirado y propuesto alternativa

Todos las veces que visito Madrid hago una parada obligada en Casa Patas, el espectaculo es variado y con artistas de calidad. El show cuesta 40 euros por persona y tienes derecho a dos consumiciones. Recomiendo ir y reservar con anticipacion ya que por lo general esta lleno. Disponen de un restaurante y una barra donde puedes hacer tiempo degustando excelentes tapas y estupendos licores. El chico que corta el jamon Oscar es un mago cortando el jamon y el servicio de los que atienden es impecable. 100% recomendable

Estivemos na Casa Patas para o jantar e assistimos, na sequência, o espetáculo de dança Flamenca. Comida muito boa, com pratos fartos e saborosos. A dança também nos agradou muito. Ótimos dançarinos, com perfeita sincronia. Foi uma ótima experiência.

Un posto davvero caratteristico della cultura spagnola, Casa Patas è stata una delle esperienze più belle del nostro viaggio a Madrid.
Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, il personale molto gentile e disponibile, molto attento alle esigenze dei clienti; atmosfera molto familiare.
Lo spettacolo è stato a dir poco meraviglioso, gli artisti molto bravi, sia i musicisti che i cantanti e ballerini.
Insomma, immancabile per chi ha voglia di gustare i sapori della tradizione culinaria madrilena e godersi uno spettacolo di Flamenco dal vivo fuori dal comune.

My daughter recommended this venue to experience a flamenco show. We purchased our tickets ahead of time and had to pick a second night because our first choice was sold out. When we arrived we were taken through a lively restaurant to a back room to be seated. It was an intimate place with a small stage. The show was interesting and improvisational. We were served a complementary beverage and small bowl of nuts. I was grateful to have experienced this important part of Spanish tradition/culture.

Incredible Flamenco, Intimate Venue

Wonderful experience! Did not have dinner, only attended the show. I purchased tickets (which included a drink) ahead of time. The venue was small and intimate, a perfect ambiance for flamenco. The dancing was incredible - intense, emotional, & passionate. The dancers seemed very professional & quite technical, and the guitarists were very skilled as well. This was the only flamenco I attended in Spain, so I cannot compare to other venues, but I truly enjoyed myself and thought the show was incredible!
