Valencia Mountain Enthusiasts have been offering hiking trips in Valencia region for over 4 years. By now, we have an extensive knowledge of the entire province, as well as the neighboring ones (Castellón, Alicante and Teruel) and offer several less well-known trails, but definitely the ones worth doing. That being said, you can also hike the most popular routes with us too.

Great Guide and Beautiful Mountains

We were recently in Valencia with a friend for an extended stay, and we needed to take a break from the city. We walk every day, but I am in my 50's with arthritic knees, so I have problems with excessively steep slopes. Dimitri was excellent in giving us our own custom trip. He arranged for a 7 km hike with 850 ft in elevation gain in the village of Sot de Chera. It's a gorgeous old Moorish town with a dramatic overview. He managed the pace well and even took the scenic route back to town so we could enjoy the dramatic scrub covered mountains. This was one of the highlights to our trip to Valencia.

Great hike with a great guide

Dmitry is such a great hiking guide! I really enjoyed the hike. He organized the trail very well, showed us hidden spots, viewpoints, kept with the speed of everyone in a group. Really recommended.

We have completed two walks with Dmitry, first the day hike to the Roman aqueduct and then a two day hike around Chelva. Both experiences were fantastic with prompt pickup at The Mestalla, comfortable transport to the mountains and great company on the hike and at dinner on the two day hike.
The hike locations are absolutely stunning. Highly recommended.

Great views and a perfect day

A great hike in the middle of winter. We had beautiful weather and most of the time there was no need to wear a jacket. We enjoyed beautiful views over a big part of Valencia areas. This landscape is so beautiful.
The trip was very well organized and Dmitrijs is a wonderful guide. At every time I felt save and in good hands. Although the group was very nice and friendly.
I highly recommend a trip with Valencia Mountains Enthusiasts.
I would just like to see a wider selection of T-shirts. So more colors, because these T-shirts with the logo of VME are really very beautiful.

Great hike, great people and best guide

Great hike with great people and even greater guide ! Dmitry is there to help you, guide you and even take lovely shots during the hike. This hike was a small drive from Valencia to Almedijar, where we started off with a visit to the local cheese store, followed up with a beautiful walk thru the forest with many cork trees. After that the walk goes uppp towards a lovely view point to enjoy our lunch. After that we continued to the high point of this hike with breathtaking views ! From there all the way back to the town ! If you like going on hiking adventures, then Dmitry is your guide. Do not look further ! Highly recommendable and you’ll see that you will repeat in no time ! 👍🤙

Great hike... again!

It has been my second hike with Dmitri so far and I enjoyed it again a lot. I could relax, enjoy the walking and admiring astonishing views and chat with fellow hikers because Dmitri thought about everything in advance. We started with a cup of coffee in a village bar to immerse in the local atmosphere and then off we went. He also found a lovely spot to have lunch we brought with us. What's also important he's checking once in a while if everyone keeps the pace. That makes you feel comfortable. Very professional! Also the social aspect is amazing! So, thanks everyone and see you on a trail!
