Left our family with 3 small children!
Salvatore is a despicable person. We had confirmed 2 rides with his company and drivers on 3 weeks ahead of our trip (see email picture). He confirmed and we communicated regularly. Completed first ride of trip without issue and had an amazing driver Andrea (he is truly superior to this organization). However, the night before our ride to the train station, Salvatore got a better offer from someone than €150 and cancelled our ride. Left a family with 3 small children scrambling at the last minute to find a suitable ride.

When I called him to discuss what happened he offered no solution or apology for the cancellation, just excuses that I didn’t answer his email from the morning within 3 hours so he cancelled the trip that we have had booked for 3 weeks (excuse me, but I’m on vacation). He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to reserve with credit card and it wasn’t fully reserved until I did (first ride no credit card was needed). He also told me that “people like me should stay in my country” when I called him out for being a dishonorable person and not respecting the reservation that we had.

This is our second trip to Italy and we have family here and have never had this issue at any point. We have always done business with very reputable and honest people and sad to report, Salvatore Lucabelli is not one of those people. Lots of other NCC (Nollegio) companies out there - call your hotel or airbnb host for recommendations - guarantee they will be better than this greedy dishonest con artist, Salvatore.

Excellent service
I had an outstanding experience with Amalfi Car Service! The owner, Salvatore, always responded quickly to my inquiries, demonstrating exceptional customer service. Our driver, also named Salvatore, was equally impressive. He was on time, very friendly, and professional throughout the journey. He provided excellent tips and recommendations and shared fascinating details about the places we passed. His punctuality and engaging conversation made the ride a true pleasure. I highly recommend Amalfi Car Service for anyone looking for reliable and knowledgeable transportation.

Best Amalfi Guide: Salvatore!!

Salvatore was the best driver and guide for our visit to the Amalfi Coast. He transferred us safely from the airport in Napoli to our hotel in Positano, was a wonderful guide taking us along the Amalfi Coast and to Sorrento, and transporting us from Positano to Rome. He is very kind and friendly, and we loved getting to know him and hear all the wonderful things he had to tell us about the area.

Efficient and professional Car Service in Amalfi

Used Amalfi Car service for all our transfer needs while in Italy. Salvtore was always very quick to respond and his rates were great. We were a group of 7 women, transferred from Rome-Amalfi then half the group transferred back to Rome while the other half transferred to Salerno. We also booked his van for a day tour of Amalfi Coast which they charge by the hour.
All our drivers were on time and helpful.
Do not hesitate to book.

Loved Antonio as our driver with Amalfi Car Service

We used Amalfi Car Service from Rome to the Amalfi Coast both ways. Antonio was fantastic!! He waited for us when we got stuck in customs. He is personable and a great driver. He ended up driving us to positano and Pompeii as well. He was so accommodating and helpful. We requested him as a driver the rest of our trip. We definitely recommend Amalfi Car Service and Antonio as a driver!! We will definitely be using him on our next trip and recommending him to all our friends.

I and my family - 5 persons in total, all adults - used Amalfi Car service for our vacation in April. Our driver's name was Biagio. Simply put, Biagio was fantastic! He was always on time, he was very responsive and he was very knowledgable. Biagio not only entertained our questions but throughly answered every question we had on the history of Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Moreover, he recommend and drove us to the best spots on the coast for us to shoot our best pictures. Furthermore, he provided us with not only restaurant ideas but dishes at restaurants that were particularly good. Ultimately, if you're in the Amalfi Coast and in need of a driver, Biagio is hands down the best driver you can ask for.

Fantastic service and extremely reliable car transfers

I used Amalfi Car Services for transfers from Naples to Pompeii, Pompeii to Amalfi and Amalfi to Naples, and they were excellent. The communication was perfect, the drivers came right on time and were very friendly, and the cars were extremely comfortable (great air conditioning in the blazing heat!) I would highly recommend this company for any transfer needs and will use them again when I return to the area.

Fantastic, reliable, professional car service

Everyone at Amalfi Car Service was fantastic! Drivers were on time, professional and absolutely lovely. They were so knowledgeable and gave us highlights of the sights during our transfers between cities. Salvatore was wonderful to work with on the booking side as well. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Excellent Car Service

My wife and I used the Amalfi Car Service for several transfers during our trip to Italy, including from Naples airport to Amalfi, Amalfi to Positano, the Naples port to a hotel in Naples, and that hotel to the Naples airport. Every single one was excellent, professional, on time, nice vehicles, and helpful drivers. Salvatore was great with communication and responding to emails. I highly recommend.

Prompt, excellent service
Salvatore owns the company. He is great at communicating and has been prompt both times that I used his service. This transfer, he sent his driver Biagio, who was both an excellent driver and a great conversationalist. Next visit, I plan to ask for him to go touring.
