There are steps up into the church. There may be a flat alternative route but I am not aware of it.

We are marrying there in just over 2 weeks. We are a little nervous about how the Cloisters look, but we are determined to enjoy our ceremony. The stonework is stunning, and we are hoping the plants will have some flowers. The renovations are complete I believe, the floor had holes that needed fixing, and the tree was removed at the same time. Although the big tree has gone, I have scoured the internet for wedding photos, and the arches nd perimeter walkway make a lovely backdrop. The tree did cast some shade, so not sure if that will make it hot and bright in the sun, guess we'll have to wait and see!

Hello, The wedding ceremony doesn't take long. Because it's a tourist attraction there are tourists coming while the ceremony is taking place. It is opened air and there are seats put out for your guests. It is like a conveyer belt. Has one wedding ceremony finishes the next one is I only 30 mins to 45 mins away. When I was there as a wedding guest I see two weddings beforehand. When it comes to rain I didn't see any covering for that. Matter of fact it needs covering for the the guests and bridegroom who are sweltering in the heat awaiting the arrival of the bride. Hope that's of help to you.

I booked mine using a package holiday operator and they did all the work, including a wedding planner in Sorrento.

Hi I went through Thomson holidays and had my reception at the cloisters in April 16. You will be assigned a wedding planner who will help you with all the aspects of planning. You choose things like the flowers etc when you arrive in Italy but you chose the meal options etc in advance before you leave. They will give you an email address so you can talk to them about any concerns or ideas. Good luck! Xx
