Passionate and fun! Gio is the best, quick & easy booking, smooth transaction and the best treatment ever. No fuss transactions even though we booked on such short notice and we were still even able to customize the tour! We fell in love with Amalfi over again! Gio is always fun and pleasant, regaled us with stories, took our photos, sang beautifully, brought us to the best places to maximize our time... it's like we were being toured by a family member! Highly recommended! Keep it up!

This was without a doubt the most professional and informative tour I have ever experienced primarily due to our driver/guide to and from our visits to Ravello/Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. His arrangements for our tour guide at Pompeii was fantastic. He was also able to take us to one of the best restaurants along our route which was probably one the best I’ve experienced in my extensive travels around Italy over many years. I was traveling with my granddaughter who was very thankful for the knowledge she received and the beautiful views along our route. If you book with Gigi you will be traveling with the best!

Look no further, Gio the singing Amalfi Coast tour guide is your man! From the moment we met Gio he was very personable, made sure he knew all our names and connected with each of us! He picked us up in in style in his Mercedes van at our hotel and was very comfortable. He is very passionate, experienced and knowledgeable about his job and region! We stopped at many scenic sites along the way where we could take the most amazing photos and of course with Gio too! He makes sure everyone is happy and comfortable. We stopped at a beautiful family owned restaurant along the Amalfi and had the best meal we’ve had in all of Italy! Anthony the owner was amazing! Excellent food and most beautiful views! We made it to Positano and Amalfi and spent our free time there to shop and see the sites. We didn’t make to Ravello because of the rain storm with hail. Yes in May!! However it was not storming in Gio’s van. Just a lot of laughter and singing! Gio made our family vacation of 5 unforgettable! Your search is over, knowledge, experience and excellent prices!! We throughly enjoyed our Amalfi Coast tour! Luigi was a great driver. Prompt, attentive, respectful and knowledgeable! He knows the local roads well which helped avoid some of the traffic pitfalls. We appreciate all he did and certainly recommend his business to all our friends. Bonus was a great restaurant tip and really enjoyed his recommendation.

We highly recommend Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours.
From our first email enquiry, we always experienced very prompt responses to our emails by Melania. We decided on a day tour which took us to the beautiful Ravello via the magnificent Amalfi Coast & a two hour stop over in Pompeii, where we had a private tour by Pina. Pina was very informative and passionate as she described what we were seeing and telling us the story of Pompeii.
Prior to our Pompeii tour, Enrico who was our fabulous tour guide and driver, drove us along the beautiful Amalfi Coast. We were able to stop along the way to take many magnificent photos. We enjoyed his play list of his Lounge Music highlighting many songs from Napoli. He told us all about the various tomatoes which can be found in the region and gave us his personal recommendation for a bottle of Red wine.
We stopped in Ravello as per our request and again, took in more magnificent views of the coastline.
From Ravello, we headed to Pompeii where we stopped for lunch and had a magnificent Margarita Pizza with yellow tomatoes as recommended by Enrico. It was delicious.
Prior to arriving in Pompeii, Enrico made a surprise stop at a vendor on the side of the road who sold the best lemon sorbet. It was delicious and a wonderful personal touch.
We have had many private tour guides over the years but Enrico was an absolute standout.

What can I say the most amazing few days spent with Gio showing us around his beautiful country, I have never met someone so passionate, authentic and fun when doing a tour. He made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed. We seen places that were extraordinary and breathtaking. Gio also recommended some great places to eat to. We spent 8 hours with Giovanni. He picked us up on time and at the exact spot we expected him to be.
We then toured the Amalfi coast (Sorrento and Positano) in his very clean and comfortable Mercedes van before stopping at Herculaneum.
At the end of it all, Giovanni dropped us off at a famous pizza place in Naples just a short walk from the train station so that we could then eventually catch our train to get back to Rome.

Our guide, Giovanni Buonocore, was fabulous. He was so well versed in our driving tour from positano to herculean to Vesuvius and finally to bosco de medici winery. His guide assistant, Lena, was wonderful. I cannot say enough about how great our tour was, very relaxing yet educational. A perfect day.

Myself and Hubby had such a lovely tour with Giovanni from @lovely_amalfi_tours , we booked the Amalfi Coast tour which included visiting Ravello and Positano . Giovanni was so welcoming, and it actually felt like we all knew each other for a long time , we felt so comfortable with his presence and especially his singing skills ! Will post this next 😍 Giovanni went out of his way to make us feel relaxed and especially his lovely gift for me for my birthday . Mamma Mia ! Grazie Giovanni 💞

We booked two tours with Lovely Amalfi (Herculaneum, Pompeii, Winery tour on Day 1 and Amalfi tour on Day 2). We had Giovanni as our tour guide both days. It was a great decision because the tours were wonderful. Gio was great - entertaining, courteous, accommodating, and enthusiastic. I would not hesitate to book with this company again and recommend them highly with anyone looking to visit Naples and the region. A wonderful way to enjoy a beautiful part of Italy. If you email the company they usually respond within a day or so. I wouldn't think they operate on 12/24 or 12/25

With transport from and to Napoli, and spending at least 2 hours in Pompeii, and enough time to visit the other two cities (or even squeezing Herculaneum or another small city if we have the time) .
