Lello stands out among his peers!
This was our third visit to Pompeii. The first time was with a large group. Because we didn’t know better. In 2021 we toured with Lello, in 2022 we toured Herculaneum with Lello, and this time, Lello showed us all the new excavations since our last visit.

Let me say this:
It is worth coming to Italy for no other reason than to tour with Lello. He is so passionate about the history, so knowledgeable-he is an archeologist, and he treats us as family.

Three tours with Lello, never has he bored us, he takes the time to tell you what you are looking at, the history of the particular place, how it was discovered, and how they figured out what it was in ancient times.

We are in Italy for two weeks. Hands down, this was the best day of the vacation. I do not have the words to recommend Lello highly enough!

An amazing historical treasure as shown to us by a vero maestro

We recently booked a guided tour of Pompeii and having Lello as our guide felt like winning the lottery. I cannot imagine seeing the site with anyone else. We are two parents and a seven year old boy and we were all moved by his infectious enthusiasm. There are details all over the site that we would never have noticed without his expertise. It is clear that he cares very deeply about history, about Pompeii, and about sharing it with his guests. Don't be a "barbarian," book with Lello and you will not regret it!

Second tour! That says it all. We loved our first experience at Pompeii so much that we booked a second tour to see the new discoveries at Pompeii. If you are truly interested in archeology, history and Pompeii this is the tour

Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius excursion in one day
The excursion includes Skip the Line with Local Archeologist at Pompeii and Herculaneum and hike to Vesuvius Volcano come. The archeologist is very knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a great deal about Pompeii and Herculaneum within a short period.

Outstanding Experience of Pompeii and Herculaneum

Having experienced a very poor tour of Pompeii over 20 years ago, we wanted to see it and Herculaneum on a private tour with an expert this time. And that is truly what we got with Lello, who is also an archaeologist. He knows the ruins as if he lived there and seems to be known by everyone who works at both sites, With 2 hours at each site Lello gave us a tour that would have required 5-6 hours under normal tour group conditions. He is excellent. We recommend him without reservation.

Brilliant tour with Lello
We thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour of Pompeii with Lello. Incredibly informative, showing us the little details others would miss that really helped understand the way of life. Highly recommend

Excellent tour guide company
Our third visit to Pompeii, the second with Lello. We so much enjoyed our first experience with them we booked another. Pompeii is so large there is always something new to see. Our guide Italica was excellent with lots of interesting facts about the ruins and the background to what we saw. A very good two hours

Lello is amazing with kids!!!

Lello is absolutely amazing!! So perfect with our kids (ages 9 & 11). He had them engaged the entire time. Lello is funny, entertaining, while at the same time providing in-depth knowledge and history of Pompeii. He is obviously an absolute expert. If you are bringing kids, you must book Lello!!!

Wonderful way to spend the day!
Wonderful way to spend the day. Lelo was fun, informative, and clearly loves his job. Marco was great to have as a driver for us as well. Could not have asked for a better experience!
