Valerie was terrific. Very crowded day and many groups. She explained key points and had knowledge to navigate us thru for the best experience that 3 hours would allow.

Paola our guide was amazing from start to finish, she took us on the early AM tour, massively recommend as cooler. She ensured we used the restroom facilities before the rush crowds came in and got us a seat in the shade whilst giving us a very informative Sistine chapel description.
She was born and raised in Rome and you could tell with her vast knowledge of the whole tour. We enjoyed the stunning views, amazing wall art and then onto the Chapel and the Church.
She allowed us time for Qs, rest and pictures, she absolutely made our tour special, we were there for our honeymoon and the tour and guide were one of the best we have experienced and spoke of it ever since, thank you Paola!!!

There is no other way to see the Vatican. A tour saves so much time, that you’ll understand when you see the line. In addition to the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s, this tour included a trolly ride through the Vatican Garden…just beautiful. Our guide was awesome!

Valeria took us on an 8 am detailed tour of the beautiful Vatican gardens, explaining the origin and function of each in turn, and the structures within. There were only a few other groups about as special permission is needed, so it was a very memorable and relaxing experience.
Then she showed us the three main Vatican galleries and afterwards we were free to go through the Sistine Chapel and to explore the museums by ourselves.
The gardens tour made this trip stand out for me, as I wasn't expecting the peace and tranquility.

Initial meeting and sorting out of groups was a bit laboured, but tour guide was informative and took the trouble to ensure we were all kept together. Sometimes the earpiece (provided by the Vatican) was not clear. Due to the number of people in the buildings, some parts of the tour were slow, but others we were rushed through (areas we might have preferred to spend more time in if we were by ourselves, but that's the nature of a guided tour).
There is so much to see and take in in these beautiful buildings, it was certainly worth it to have a guide to point out the interesting features and provide the history. It was good that we were able to spend as much time as we wanted in St Peter's Basilica and St Peter's Square at the end.

Good intro tour. Covered highlights. Did let you skip the line, which was wonderful.
The guide was good, and spoke well.
Just wish that we could have spent more time at certain stops.

Very well organised. Our tour guide ( Sakhe, apologies I can't remember how to spell her name ) was knowledgeable and also great fun.
I couldn't belive the queues we skipped at each location. It was worth every penny.

Excellent tour guide who was knowledgeable and funny. Skip the line was well worth it, especially in the heat.

Everything was awesome. Our tour guide was friendly, humorous, seemed very knowledgeable. The crowd could not be helped; the weather was perfect. The sun and shadows played their role showing the frescoes and wall hangings beautifully!

I am planning a trip for September for 3 adults. What is the average size of a group. Also will the tour guide use headsets.

Our group was about 20. Peak season though I think this tour is always busy! He did use headsets so it was very easy to hear.
