Ora io dico : mi auguro che vi siate resi conto di quello che avete posto in essere in un catino in grado di accogliere molti meno di un terzo della gente accorsa alla kermesse. Camminare a passo d'uomo uno appiccicato all'altro con un sole battente in testa e con file kilometriche in qualunque stand di ristoro ci si volesse fermare. Una kermesse del genere insostenibile lì mai più per carità neanche pagato

Bellissima l'iniziativa, ma organizzata malissimo (e nn sono la sola a dirlo), il malcontento era comune tra tante xsone arrivate x trascorrere una giornata diversa e particolare.
File interminabili, x i bambini e' stato estenuante. Location splendida, ma totalmente fuori luogo x il tipo di evento. Sarebbe stato di gran lunga organizzarlo fuori dal raccordo dove gli spazi sono immensi e piu' appropriati. Peccato.

Sicuramente è stato il miglior evento da 10 Anni a questa parte a roma a parte la location la.migliore a Roma partirei dalla sicurezza ineccepibile forze dell'ordine ovunque ,servizio sanitario all altezza con tanti ragazzi tirocinanti e da ottimi medici..infine i prodotti da tutte le parti d' Italia strepitosi qualita'eccelsa e abbondante.complimenti a gli organizzatori fatti da un esperto del settore.

Mercato di Campagna Amica is Rome's largest farmers market, although only open on weekends, and it is a stones throw from Circus Maximus. Everything is really local, as products are made or grown within 100 kilometers from the point of sale. The market offers fresh produce, fruit, cured meats, an ensemble of cheese, organic wine and craft beer. I constructed a DIY sandwich, that shouted Italian, with some of that fine Italian bread, leafy greens, pecorino (sheep cheese), some prosciutto and other cure meats all washed down with a homemade fruit-veggie drink.

Weekend farmers market we noticed on the way to the metro from our hotel, great fresh produce. Picked up some bread, beer and calzone. Stayed for a couple of beers out the back and we enjoyed some fried chicken and bacon rolls, all reasonably priced. Well worth a visit

Posto solo per turisti……ci sono veramente pochi banchi che producono materia prima, proprietari delle attività presuntuosi e arroganti, pizza dura,pane idem,prodotti di panificio molto scarsi,prezzi proibitivi sicuramente non adeguati alla materia prima,non c’è controllo da parte della Coldiretti ognuno vende quello che vuole,già è la seconda volta che ci troviamo a discutere per prodotti non idonei,scamorza affumicata con fumo liquido………e calzone ripieno che di ripieno non aveva niente……duro ,secco e vuoto!!!!! Ma la cosa più brutta è il menefreghismo della Coldiretti che dovrebbe tutelare i consumatori e produttori seri,ma di serietà c’è ne ben poca, tutta la merce esposta non è presente un cartellino,prezzi chiari…..provenienza del prodotto,e composizione del suddetto.
Con questo non voglio offendere quei pochissimi onesti che svolgono il loro lavoro.

Excellent farmers market - with a very friendly atmosphere- lots to eat and drink whilst there as well as to buy. The quality of the food was excellent. Beers were good and wine cheap!

In una delle zone storiche piu belle e affascinanti di Roma...questo mercato é davvero una particolarita. Bellissimi banconi, ordinati, puliti, si puo mangiare e comprare. Prezzi non economici per essere dal produttore al consumatore. Ma é un piacere, una volta tanto, guardare, acquistare e mangiare.

Senz'altro consigliabile per la qualità e varietà dei prodotti, ma è incomprensibile che comprando direttamente dal produttore i prezzi siano più che doppi rispetto ai prezzi, già cari, che si trovano altrove a Roma. Ad esempio l'uva non si può vendere, a settembre mese dell'uva, a 3,5/4,5 € al chilo... e così per tutti gli altri prodotti!

We stumbled across this local farmers’ market which is right next door to the Circus Maximus but still feels off the beaten track.
The best thing about it is that it’s all local Lazio produce. Set up to promote local, sustainable agriculture, the market has a ‘0 km’ philosophy and only sells products made or grown within 100km.
You will find DOC wines and extra virgin olive oil, local pecorino (sheep’s cheese), fresh fruit and veg, dried legumes, honey, seafood and cured meats.
We wandered through the meats and cheeses sections, intrigued by the roasted pigs heads, and stopped to look at the stalls piled high with prosciuttos and salamis and other less familiar cured meats like lonza, guanciale and coppiette.
We were there around lunch time so bought giant porchetta rolls (4€), stuffed full of juicy pork shoulder with garlic and fennel, crispy bits of skin and just enough salty, fattiness to make it absolutely delicious. I've included a photo below of the porchetta stall.
There were a a couple of things here that we missed out on. We didn’t realise that there was a garden area out the back where we could have sat with our porchetta rolls. This would have been good to know beforehand. We also didn’t realise how close we were the famous Bocca della Verita (Mouth of Truth) so we missed seeing that. It's only a couple of minutes away so make sure not to miss it.
HOURS: Be aware that the market is only open on Saturday & Sunday, from 8am-3pm.
