We discovered the 110 bus and the Archeobus no longer operate. There is no substitute except the hop on hop off buses.

This is by far the best option for travelers making their way to Rome on an overnight flight from North America. You will arrive early morning and chances are your room will not be ready to check-in so follow the locals to their favorite coffee place and do what they do for breakfast. After that, pay for the 1 day pass and jump on, with your camera, and get to the top deck if you can. Get a seat, plug in your ear phones, turn the dial to your language and listen and relax. This option works best for folks that want to walk the city as it helps you get your bearings so that when you are on foot you have an idea where you are. It isn't fancy, it does get full, but you can always jump on a different bus if it is too crowded. It's worth it for the money and for the view from the top deck.

市内観光の移動手段で利用しました。
色々なバス会社が在るとのことで、事前購入をしないで、行きました。
他のバスも走ってますが、見た感じ圧倒的に赤いバスの本数が多い気がしました。
その代わり、利用客も多く、停留所によっては長蛇の列になってました。
1階席より2階席がお勧めです。乗ってしまえば、停留所ごとに移動すれば、1番前にも座れます。循環バスなので、空いた席分しか、次のお客は乗って来ません。
始発のテルミニは時間調整を兼ねて、かなり停車しますのでお勧めしません。
夜もバスは走ってます。治安が心配なら、夜便で１周するのもお勧めです。

Recorre las principales atracciones de Roma, con audioguía con explicaciones correctas de cada una en distintos idiomas. Permite bajar en las paradas que se desea las veces que se quiera. Es ideal para turistas con muy poco tiempo en la ciudad, o personas con dificultades para trasladarse por su cuenta.

We had only one day to visit Rome as part of our cruise stops. This was a convenient and quick way to hop on and off in the main city attractions. Sitting on the top level will give you the opportunity to view most of rome's historical building and you can relax and enjoy the ride on a nice day or choose to go down and visit any of the stops.

Tivemos que pegar outro tipo de Hop on Hop off. Mas valeu ter feito pois em 1h40min rodamos principais pontos da cidade. No segundo dia já não usamos pois conhecíamos o roteiro. Dica: compre para 24 hs + museu do Vaticano.

A diferencia de todas la opiniones anteriores, pues realmente no me pareció malo, es un poco corto y en la época que fuimos había solo una linea (en realidad no se si haya mas), pero estuvo bien, la información era precisa, los audífonos estaban buenos y si tal vez te salían malos pues ellos no tienen ningún problema en cambiarlos, el mapa era claro. Si uno no se baja en ninguna parada, tal vez el recorrido lo termine en una hora.

There are several open top, hop-on, hop-off buss operators. Our intent was to get on one and take the full tour to gain some familiarity with the locations of attractions in central Rome. We started at the Vatican stop and approached the 110 bus which had a line up. The cost was 20E each with no deal for 4 people, We went to the next bus operator at the same stop with essentially the same route at 18E each and were offered 4 for 3 (54E) price. With no lineup we boarded the bus, The bus waits until its full and then starts off. Forget the hop-on hop-off feature as at each stop few if any get off and there is no room for new riders. The same seems to be true for 110 bus and other operators. The only advantage to the 110 bus is that they have more buses but our wait time was not long and the Vatican stop seemed to be the best with several operators having buses waiting to fill.

Возможно, нам просто повезло,но мы решились на поездку на последний рейс автобуса,когда уже просто устали ходить.Все было по времени,наушники исправны,текст-по месту и прекрасная слышимость. Получили удовольствие от поездки и видов Рима,когда даже знакомые уже места со 2-го этажа автобуса смотрелись иначе.
