It has become very difficult to find top-quality shoes at reasonable prices because so many factories and manufacturers have closed. La Dolce Vita is a standout in every respect and a must on every trip to Rome. The artistry and quality are unparalleled and the prices are very reasonable compared to big-name brands such as Prada. The owners are gracious and lovely, too.

Two of the cutest pair of shoes I have ever purchased are from La Dolce Vita. On a layover in the Rome airport, I remembered a cute little shoe store I passed by previously. Not this time, a quick ride into for my purchase.

I have been shopping regularly at La Dolce Vita for several years and own about 10 pairs of their shoes. They are the highest quality, gorgeous, comfortable and an exceptional value. The attention to detail in the trimmings makes these shoes works of art. The owner and his wife are lovely.

L Dolce Vita is an expensive shoe store on Via Sistina in Rome. Bought a pair of shoes (sales person's English was pretty good at this point) and said I would be back late in the afternoon to pick up the shoes. When I returned I asked for the sales tax refund receipt and was told it was too late for that to be given to me (sales person's English had deteriorated by then). I was not happy and tried to return the shoes but was told I could do so only for store credit. I was leaving in 2 days so could not use a store credit. Of course the store manager was on vacation as well as the owner. The sales personnel in this store were extrremely unhelpful in every way except trying to make sales.
