Les commerçants sont adorables, n'hésitez pas à leur demander de vous aider si vous avez besoin de quoique ce soit y compris appeler un taxi, j'ai confié mon téléphone portable directement à ce charmant monsieur en sirotant un excellent vin italien, beaucoup plus pratique que d'essayer de parler italien 😂

Abbiamo pranzato al Mastroianni box 96 del mercato al Testaccio, ottimo pesce dal banco alla tavola. Frittura di calamari, filetto di baccalà paccheri cozze e pecorino broccoli ripassi, accompagnati da una bottiglia di Pecorino. Tutto ottimo e presentato bene.
Un'alternativa simpatica al solito ristorante resa ancor più gradevole dalla simpatia del personale.

Went on a rainy noon.. not everything was open for business, but we managed to buy veggies for our entire stay. Reasonable prices!

We love this market. Every stall has beautiful food and there is a central seating area for eating. We got a couple porchetta sandwiches & a bottle of wine after walking around the market. We walked over to a taxi stand near the pyramid to go back towards our hotel nearCampo de Fiori.

Roma tem muitos mercados e esse virou mais uma atração turística, Mas esteja atento aos horários! Ele não abre aos domingos e fecha cedo.
O local histórico conta com uma feira de produtos alimentares frescos, gastronomia de rua, brechós e ateliês.
Situado onde se fazia o principal desembarque de produtos da antiga Roma, fica ao lado de um pequeno monte que também vale uma visita. Ele foi formado com os restos de mais de 25 milhões de ânforas, que eram quebradas para evitar a sua reutilização.
Pode ser agendada uma visita as escavações e ao museu do antigo "emporium".

Because 26 December is a considered a holiday, I don’t think the market will be open. I’d go to the website to check but I doubt it as much will be closed here in Rome.

Perhaps the fastest and simplest way is the metro. It's only a few stops on blue line. Get off at Piramide.

Il mercato della Piazza, e stato spostato da anni, si trova in via Principe Amedeo ed è naturalmente coperto, dove possiamo trovare tanto, anche le scarpe.
Proprio sulla Piazza troviamo bancarelle che si scambiano il posto, solo qualcuna è fissa e si trovano sotto i portici.
