Anna and our driver Antonio were amazing!
Antonio made the drive smooth and relaxing, whilst Anna’s knowledge and insight was second to none. Throughout the drive Anna kept us engaged with local knowledge and history. She also gave us a great intro to Pompeii ahead of our short tour so we could get right into looking at authentic graffiti and bakeries of the time.

We had Barbara for the crypt and catacombs tour. She was fantastic - very knowledgeable and friendly, no query was too much for her! She certainly brought the tour and the history to life

Elena did a very nice job showcasing some of the key things to see in the Vatican museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's. There is so much to see but she gave some great context and highlighted some great stories to make 2 hours fly by.

De gids was erg kundig, geduldig en sprak duidelijk Engels. De koptelefoons waren prima in orde en de groep was ook niet te groot. We raden iedereen deze gids aan!

Vanessa was an awesome guide. She was very informative and friendly. Seeing the crypts and catacombs felt like a really special experience. I'd definitely recommend this tour!

Definitely worth the price! Lines are HUGE to get in and with the tour you skip them and head in with your group. Our guide (name pronounced Goo-Ya but no idea how to spell it) was excellent. Very knowledgeable and informative and not boring like many tour guides I’ve had.

A good tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The lunch was very rustic and the wine tasting was disappointing. Very little explanation and too many people. Felt like a mass produced tour that you would normally experience as part of a cruise

We had a wonderful time in Montepulciano, so much history and great shopping there. A fabulous lunch and wine tasting awaited for us a short distance away at Frattoria Pulciano after, a working family run farm, very friendly people. Then on to a small hillside town of Pienza, full of beautiful views and scrumptious gelato. A very reasonable trip guided by Fabrizio, also five star, on a very comfortable bus. A great day, five stars for City Wonders!

I cancelled all of my tours due to the virus. CityWonders responded that it would take up to 3-4 MONTHS to get my refund!

Just wanted to say these folks accepted my cancellation without question, a very simple process. When travel restrictions are once again lifted in Rome, we will definitely be looking them up again

Who do I contact Re cancellation of trip now Italy is in lock down & I have cancelled my holiday No problem with Airline,hotel & taxi ordered. Only problem appears to be yourselves. I do intend to come back next year and have taken up my airline offer of a voucher valid for 5 years despite having travel insurance & could have been refunded. Our booking ref. Is BR - 777984694 city owners code 3731COLOSSCUM for option code TG14 confirm action no 3007399 for 22/5/20. I have previously been on this same tour with my mother but was going again with a friend.

I’m not sure about the flights , but I know City Wonders has a standard refund policy for tours. In the past we have cancelled or modified tours with them and had no problems.
Their policy is stated on the receipt and or ticket (for tours). It may have been modified due to the current situation.
Based on our experience with them, they are a very reputable company and I’m sure something can be worked out.

We have a group of ten staying in Rome for two days after a cruise. We want to take the Faster than skip the line: Sistine Chapel, Vatican and St. Peters. There are six people staying at Atlante Garden Hotel and four people staying at Geminedi Romma Hotel. How far is it to the pickup point from each location? Can we walk or take the metro? If you are referring to the Atlante Garden Hotel located in Via Crescenzio, 78, I'm happy to confirm that it is located about 15 minutes walking distance from the meeting point. As for the other Hotel, do you mean Gemme Di Roma located in Via Gaeta,64? If so, please note that it is not located in the Vatican City, therefore you will need to get a taxi or the metro (about 20 to 30 minutes travel time).
In any case, I advise you to check with the reception of each hotel, as they will be able to give you accurate directions and advise you about the best to go to the meeting point.
Please don't hesitate to contact us directly to book.

The Vatican and Sistine Chapel Priority Entrance tickets. It is unclear if we can also get into the church, St. Peters. How can I find this out? I don't see a link to the tour operator here. I like that we can wander at our own pace with this rather than being rushed through. thanks for any insights!

It's worth having a guide. After the tour you can take whatever time you need to roam around.
