It's worth going on the bus tour (you're not allowed off) just to understand just how the paint job on your treasured Ferrari got to be so bad: primed bodies on jigs littered about outside exposed to the elements!

If you want a proper factory tour, visit Ducati where you'll find yourself on the factory floor, dodging people doing their jobs (and the odd robot).
Like many of the visitors taking this "factory" tour I understood that we'd not be seeing the insides of any of the factories. However, the fact that the tour was simply riding on the bus through the factory complex, without being able to take any photos, was very disappointing.
When tour moves onto the Fiorano test track things don't improve, you park up around the back of the circuit, by the garages they use when "packing up" the F1, and from where you can't see much. What's worse is that fact that they explain its not used much these days, but you're still not allowed off the bus. Again, no photos are allowed.
To get a proper look at the track we drove to Via 2 Giugno from where you can get a great view of the track.

I’ve seen some negative reviews on here. We didn’t have high expectations as we knew we couldn’t go on the track. But the museum was awesome. Lots of history here. Then the tour of the factory. It was a bus tour. We drove around the entire campus. The tour guide was great! We enjoyed it and had a great experience.

Boring,
Just riding around in the bus,
Can’t see anything interesting, and there isn’t even a normal access to toilets before or after,
Only one toilet with a huge line.
Annoying!!!
Don’t waste your time and money, even if you’re a hard core Ferrari fan.

This was the worst tour ever, 40 minutes always on the bus and no pictures allowed. We didn’t see in any buildings or any factory stuff, just a 40 minute ride through a bunch of buildings which was like driving through a business park. We drove by a test track but it was nothing special and no cars on the track. A total waste of 30 euros and our time. Note the museum was fantastic, just not the bus tour.

Visitare i luoghi dove il mito Ferrari è nato e dove
tutt'oggi perpetua è senza alcun dubbio molto interessate.
La ragazza che ha raccontato nei minimi dettagli ogni angolo e ogni edificio
è senza ombra di dubbio una grande narratrice.
Ho solo alcuni dubbi:
Poichè con grande delusione non hanno permesso di visitare gli interni degli edifici
Perchè non permettono di fotografare gli edifici e i viali?
Perchè non si può fotografare la pista di Fiorano in considerazione del fatto che è perfettamente visibile dal vicino cavalcavia della strada comunale?
Dubbi che probabilmente non riceveranno risposta.
Resta comunque il fatto che il giro in pullman meritava.

Bus tour is absolutely useless. Just a drive through an essentially closed factory, where you can see nothing but buildings, and a track from a distance. Everyone once in a while the tour guide tried to point out something inside a building, which is covered in slats, and therefore allows limited if any views. Truly a waste of money and time.

Great to be able to enter those famous gates and see the various areas of the factory. You are taken around in a coach and get off briefly once at the other exit, before entering the site by coach again. Do not go expecting to see the production lines and you are also not allowed to take photos - but this is understandable due to the sensitive nature of such a production facility - at the time, the forthcoming Ferrari SUV was being wheeled across the road in front of us but it was fully hidden so not much to tell you (the silhouette certainly gave it away !). A few built cars were parked outside. Tour guide speaks alternately in Italian and English and was very interesting and informative.

Peccato che il tuor della fabbrica sia esclusivamente all'esterno e non vi è modo di entrare, in ogni modo la guida ci ha illustrato egregiamente le varie caratteristiche della fabbrica e del circuito.
Sicuramente il prezzo è eccessivo

Where is the actual factory? Is it on the premises? Can you travel there via anything other than the shuttle bus? Could somebody link an address? What time does the shuttle bus head back to the Museo Ferrari Maranello?
Can you tell me how to BOOK the factory tour? Lots of different websites, italian and some bad reviews. I will have 3 car buffs traveling and so we thought the tour would be great (we went to Porsche in Stuttgart and it was amazing).

the MUSEUM ENTRANCE FEE IS REASONABLE, MAYBE 11 EUROS? the ONLY WAY INTO THE FACTORY IS AS FOLLOWS:
1. invitation FROM Ferrari
2. Own or order a Ferrari
3. Have a friend with a Ferrari (multiple) and they make an introduction.
The Factory tour i/ factory is not open to the public.

How long are you allowed to spend in each museum?
It is mentioned on the website the museum is open from 9:30- 19:00
Are you allowed to see the factory inside? Some people say you can only see the factory walls only from the outside.
I would also like to visit Fiorano track.
I do not want to miss any thing related with the History of Ferrari, cars museums, factories can you please guide

Yes, if you have a reservation Ferrari N.A will schedule a time , if that time does not work, you can suggest one that does.
Getting a reservation however is not easy unless you have ordered a Ferrari, or, are an owner of a Ferrari.
The Factory is not open to the public.
