This 14th fortress is at the top of a hill in the Old Town. It’s the History Museum. It has a nice garden with lots of trees and bushes, but we saw some cannons, too. We walked around and enjoyed the fantastic panorama.

Una vista panoramica spettacolare che ripaga la fatica della grande salita necessaria per raggiungere la Rocca di Bergamo; all'interno soprattutto un bel parco con il Museo Storico con citazioni e riconoscimenti per le Forze Armate Italiane ed in particolare per alcuni battaglioni/reggimenti che ad esse fanno capo; molto bella anche la struttura stessa della Rocca con i Torrioni e le scale interne.

una piacevole passeggiata nel primo angolo di giardino dedicato ai caduti e alle commemorazioni storiche della città e della Nazione. Bellissimo il panorama che si scorge sui tetti e campanili della città Alta.

Dopo una bella passeggiata si sale, con un po' di fatica, dalla via Rocca sino alla Rocca di Bergamo appunto che regala un colpo d'occhio davvero interessante sullo skyline medievale della città. Bello anche il museo all'interno.

Great place to have a rest and overlook the whole old town. It’s a short walk from the old town centre to this quiet place and entrance is free. There are a couple of benches in the garden which under the tree gives you the shade, can sit down and relax.

We didn't pay to go in but just walked around the park outside which is a lovely peaceful area with great views.

Ultima tappa del mio tour pedonale di Bergamo alta, la Rocca con il suo piccolo parco, il panorama, le attrezzature da guerra che stridono fra il mio pacifismo e la necessità di ricordare chi quella guerra l'ha dovuta combattere, volente o nolente.
