Bonjour. No, you have to pay to visit the Grotte di Catullo. It is about 6€ if I remeber well.

Agree with Harry D . No need to book. Quayside ticket office opens at 8am and first ferry at 8.20. Just buy your return for 6 euros to Sirmione and no stress. The guy at the office will tell you which little pier to go to which is only minutes away. Enjoy Sirmione but please go early or you might get the wrong impression of this lovely town.

Hi Barbara, I’m so glad you asked. There’s a little train that takes you from the edge of the Medievil town to the ruins that gives you quick access and I would say minimum of two hours. I absolutely love Roman ruins and there so many picturesque places to take photographs and just enjoy, that I think two hours is probably enough but maybe give yourself a little bit more extra time. It was the highlight of my trip. Thank you for asking, If I can be of any more help please let me know I’ve been there three times. Marilyn Ps as you pass through the town I think that castle there is worth visiting there is not a lot in it but it’s worth the visit I think. It’s not spectacular though. But the views are nice.

Il passeggino non puo' essere utilizzato per un quarto del percorso della visita

solo nella zona archeologica.

Tramite il trenino (che io personalmente non consiglio), oppure una bella e sana passeggiata.

Si dalle grotte c'è una stradina che porta giù al lago dove puoi prendere il sole.
