TL;DR - business is no longer active on TripAdvisor, booking will not be honored.
We booked for the truffle hunt and did not receive the usual additional details from our host. We sent a note through trip advisor, as well as a couple emails and received nothing. I then called the contact number a few times over the next couple days and finally got through. The very nice man answered and said that his number was tied to the listing but he was not running the tours.
I called into viator/TripAdvisor for help and was on the line for 40 min. They verified the business partners were having issues and the organizer listed no long had access to his account and would not be able to run the tour. Unfortunately there were no other truffle tours available through other groups that day so instead of booking through another group, TripAdvisor/viator provided a full refund.
Asti was a nice city to walk around in but we ended up returning to turin for the following afternoon.
Unfortunately a business disagreement with partners that prevented us from attending the tour we were most looking forward to and had planned our trip around :( hopefully this review can help others from going through the same thing we did

I recently planned an event for my company where we hosted a group of 20 for a 3 day trip to Piedmont region. I used Piedmobt Taxi service for all of my transportation, including pickup and drop off at Turin, and Barolo for a private full day wine tour. I had people flying in from many different cities and the logistics were not easy. This tour operator was on top of all of it! We were picked up on time, dropped off on time, and had great and friendly drivers! I will be planning the same trip next year and will be calling Piedmont Wind Tours for handle everything. Can't say enough about the professionalism and customer service that I received from Carlo, Alex and the whole team at Piedmont Wind tour.

My husband and I loved the private Barolo wine tour we did in the Piedmont Region. The staff at Piedmont Travel Guide was amazing. The private taxi service were the perfect size and well air conditioned with free snakes and water. Our tour guide did a great job explaining the Langhe region and types of wine (Barolo Riserva from Marchesi di Barolo) will we be sampling. He even gave us some background information on each winery. The three wineries we went too were also perfect. Great wine but they each offered a different take on the wine. We ended buying 6 bottles and having the team at Piedmont Tours assist with shipping to the US. We received our wine in great condition shortly after returning to the US.

We spent an amazing week-end in Piedmont - arranged by La Morra Truffle Hunting Tour Experience - doing truffle hunting in La Morra with Marco, Luca and Zak (the lovely dog!), and wine tasting at Cantine Mongioia in Santo Stefano Belbo, where we also had a delicious dinner at the Michelin-star restaurant Guido da Costigliole. Everything was very well organized and arranged with the help of Carlo. I can surely recommend to contact La Morra Truffle Hunting Tour Experience to live unforgettable moments in Piedmont!

If you are ever in Alba or Barolo, taking a truffle-hunting tour with Marco in his town of La Morrais an absolute requirement! And, if you're asking yourself, "but is it worth the money?", the answer is...it is a total deal!
We (successfully) hunted black truffles with the help of Marco's his amazing Lagotto Romangolo dog (the veteran) and Maga (5 month old, in training). Marco shared information on truffle classification, ecology, hunting etiquette, dog handling/training, and forest conservation. We were in the field for nearly two hours, then returned to his house for a delicious snack of fresh truffles, focaccia, cheese, home-preserved stuffed tomatoes and a bottle of Prosecco. Amazing!! Marco is soulful, engaging, kind and extremely passionate about his art form. You will not be disappointed!!

Here I would like to thanks Marco being our honored wine specialist and tour guide for the winery in Langhe and Gran Barolo Wine Tasting Tour from Milan. Its was so nice to have such an enjoyable and relax trip in Barolo. We can explore 3 different wineries and meet the wine makers and owners, face to face in learning how’s the wine making process and how to taste the wine in a professional way.
I would highly recommend my friends to join this travel agency. We haven’t got any pressure and rush to visit at all. Wine should be sharing and enjoying with such a nice environment and the ones being with u! Best wishes and thanks once again!

My sister, mom and I spent the day in the Langhe region learning from Carlo along the way. He is so knowledgeable and it made the trip much more fun to have the back story before we arrived at our first winery.
He took us to a larger winery and a much smaller one that we ended up buying Barolo wine and Truffle oil from Alba. Both experiences were amazing and the wine was also amazing.
We had lunch and a great place just outside of La Morra, overlooking the valley. It was a perfect way to spend a couple hours between wineries. Not only was the trip planned well but Carlo really let us experience it for ourselves while still giving his knowledge and expertise which was so appreciated by us, since our level of knowledge to Langhe or Piedmont wine in general is so low. I feel like way less of an amateur now and could certainly tell you about the region and Langhe and Monferrato specifically!
