The day we were there, there was a mix of people that pre-bought tickets and some that bought right on the spot. So I would assume it's ok to wait till that day and time and go there and by directly in the museum shop. We only had one afternoon in Venice so we bought in advance so as not to get locked out. I don't know how many people can go on the tour at once. And we only bought 1 ticket and that was a tour of the Ghetto and the synagogue that was open at the time.

Well, the wayI see it, the área of the Jewish ghetto is actually so small, you don`t really need joining a tour. Asking around the locals will provide you all the guidance you may need. Still, keep in mind the Shabbat, ok? Enjoy.

It was a tour company that we found online, and said we want a simple, custom tour. That's what happened! Best I can do.

Apologies but we didn't take a guided we just got up one morning and strolled through the streets and canal sides. It was fantastic - less tourist, more bohemian and you start to get a different flavour of Venice

Dear Diana, Loved Venice. I booked my hotel and walking tour through TFL Tours in Italy. They were amazing. My guide was not Luca in Venice. I had a Luca as a guide who was incredible in Florence. Our walking tour ended with a 45 minute gondola tour. Worth doing once, in spite of the cost...but if you do it through TFL tours, it will be much less than if you arranged it directly when you are there.
