Walking tour of Taormina
The guide, Chiara, was terrific - knowledgeable, fun, sensitive to group needs and flexible in the timing. One of the best guides we have had in our many travels.

Fantastic picture perfect tour of Taormina

Chiara is an amazing guide. She took us on a walking tour of Taormina. Her knowledge about the history of Taormina and Sicily was impressive. She made me want to learn more of the history of these amazing places we were visiting. We ended our tour at a restaurant that she recommended that served the most delicious food.
I would highly recommend Chiara as the guide for anyone searching for an interesting, educational and fun tour.

Taormina muss man sich erarbeiten
Taormina ist wunderschön. Die Stadt liegt rund 200 Meter wie ein Balkon über dem Meer und die Aussicht ist traumhaft.
Die Lage hat auch einen Nachteil. Man muss viele Kurven bewältigen, um von unten nach oben v. c. zu kommen. Das ist nichts für Anfänger, die gerade ihren Führerschein gemacht haben. Ich empfehle einen Mietwagen mit Automatik, dass ist weniger Stress, wenn sie mitten auf einem steilem Hang halten müssen.
Des weiteren gibt es überall viele Treppen, die man erobern muss. Für Gesunde mag das ein gutes Fitnesstraining sein, aber gehbehinderte werden nicht ihre Freude daran haben. Das wird leider in den Reiseführern nicht erwähnt.
Wir earen im Dezember dort bei 19 Grad und haben es genossen, da der Rummel nicht so gross war.

Chiara is an amazing tour guide!! She had unlimited fascinating and funny stories to share with us and gave us a real sense of Sicily that we never would have obtained without her. She made the day so special and fun even for my daughter who never enjoys a tour. She is incredibly warm and just a joy to spend half a day with. I cannot recommend Chiara anymore enthusiastically!!

Excellent start to our time in Taormina

What a wonderful way to start off our stay in Taormina! Chiara was an expert on all Sicilian topics and told us stories and oriented us to the place and the history better than we could have ever imagined. She met us at our hotel, patiently waited while we got situated, and then guided us on a lovely walk through the town to a superb arancini local spot where we bought some food and enjoyed a glass of wine. We ended the night with the Sicilian sorbet “granita.” A truly magical evening- highly recommend taking a tour with her! Made us appreciate our stay in beautiful Taormina even more than we would have

Nous avons eu la chance de profiter des connaissances, de la gentillesse et de la bonne humeur de Chiara en groupe de 15 adultes. Elle nous a fait découvrir Taormina, Castelmola et l’Etna jusqu’à l’arrivée du téléphérique. Elle est très pro. et est à l’écoute des envies ou besoins. C’est LA perle de la Sicile !

Private sehr ausführliche und sympathische Taormina Tour (deutschsprachig)
Chiara hat uns in einer privaten Tour von 4 Personen auf sehr interessanter und charmanter Weise Taormina gezeigt & viel geschichtliches Hintergrundwissen vermittelt. Besonderes Highlight war der Sonnenuntergang im Amphitheater. Wir können die Tour mit Chiara mit ihren sehr guten Deutschkenntnissen zu 100% weiter empfehlen.

Spannender Rundgang durch Taormina
Der Rundgang durch Taormina mit Chiara ist sehr spannend, kurzweilig und sehr informativ. Chiara erzählt nicht nur sondern geht auch sehr stark auf individuelle Bedürfnisse und Fragen ein. Auch unseren Kids (11 + 13) hat der Rundgang mit Chiara viel Freude gemacht. Vielen Dank, jederzeit gerne wieder. Liebe Grüsse.

Während unseres Spaziergangs mit Chiara hat sie uns auf sehr lebendige Art und Weise Taormina gezeigt und Wissenswertes über Sizilien mit uns geteilt. Man merkt, wie gern sie dort lebt gibt bei der Tour die Begeisterung an uns weiter. Zusätzlich hatten wir das Glück bei Sonnenuntergang im antiken Theater zu sitzen und konnten die besonders schönen Lichtverhältnisse miterleben.
