We decided to visit the Italian opera on our last evening in Taormina. I enjoyed the show - excellent repertoire, great performance, a lot of humor - it was interesting to watch not only to listen to.

Such a lovely hidden gem. Really beautiful venue. Pictures we saw before booking do not do it justice. Lovely taster if you’ve never tried opera before. Just a lovely experience that should not be missed if at all possible.

Erg leuke voorstelling met veel plezier gebracht. Mooi theater en goed verzorgd programma. Er zijn vip kaarten van 50 euro en kaarten van 30 euro. Wij boekten op dezelfde dag. De dame die overdag tickets verkocht was in de avond de gastvrouw en aanwezig tot na de voorstelling. Respect!

The chemistry between both singers as well as the pianist was captivating. The arias that were presented were beautifully done. A must see in Taormina.

Fantastic evening - the opera singers and the pianist were amazing but they also were humorous and there was great interaction with the audience.

The talent of the pianist and the opera singers was phenomenal, really worth going to the show!!
The atmosphere was amazing, it felt like being at a private show, intimate and poignant performances, we love it. Standing ovation from the audience, exceptional!!

The whole experience was exceptional with professional level opera singers and pianist delivering popular arias from all the better known operas. Bit worried at first as it looked like a school hall but once the opera started the surroundings were forgotten. No need to dress up too much but people for the most part had made an effort and were turned out nicely. We are going back to Taormina next year and will be going again. Rather than get the VIP tickets at €50 where you are seated in the first 4 rows and get a glass of champagne before you go in (everyone gets one in the interval) we will get the tickets at €30. Highly recommend for a lovely night out that's not too stuffy.

Going to Taormina at the end of September and would love to attend any musical event prefferably under an open sky.

The show we saw was excellent but under cover although we did have a complementary prosecco on the terrace overlooking the square and the harbour. If you want open air try the website for the Greek theatre, they have shows, Sting is playing there soon (not a fan of his though!) but will I’m sure have some opera or classical performances. Have a great time.

It is possible to access with a wheelchair arriving from via Don Bosco and not from the square below, there is a disabled bathroom on the same floor as the concert hall.
