I cannot recommend Alessandro enough. He was the consummate professional. My family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) hired him for two days while we were in Florence. He took care of all the logistics and gave us many options for the itinerary as the day went on. Our time spent with him was one of the highlights of our trip! One of the best things about him was that he didn’t smoke. It seems as though everyone in Italy smokes. All of our previous drivers we used while in Italy had to stop every so often to smoke. Being from the US, my kids are never around smokers in public; the smell of the other drivers’ smoke was offensive and always bothered them. Not Alessandro. It may be a small point to some people, but it definitely made our days with Alessandro even more enjoyable.

We decided to do a 1 day excursion from Florence to explore the Chianti Wine Road, Siena, San Gimiganano and surrounding villages. Alessandro was very patience and picked us up from outside our hotel offering flexibility pick up times. He was very knowledgeable of the places we was visiting and felt safe as passengers. The tour was just what we was looking for and with limited time in Florence it was worth the money. Siena was beautiful and is a must to visit the catherdral, its stunning! The wineries were great, lovely views. I would recommend a trip with Alessandro.

My wife and I (from Colorado) recently spent 15 days in Tuscany. We had such a great time with Ale. His passion for his job is evident. He is kind and personable and is very flexible in order to accommodate the wishes of his clients. We spent 3 full days with him exploring Tuscany and it was everything we could've hoped for. Can't wait to go back and explore some more.

Alessandro brought my Dad, sister and I on a wonderful tour of Firenze - including Siena, San Gimignano and Tuscany! He is so knowledgeable, considerate, fun and helpful! Truly above and beyond service. We had a wonderful day creating special memories! 5 stars +!

Alessandro was very professional and went above and beyond what we expected from the tour. It was exactly what we were looking for and an unforgettable experience. He gives you options to curate your tour based on your preferences which was very nice. We went to San gimigano and Siena where he even stood in line at the cathedral (in the rain) while we explored the town for ourselves so that we wouldn’t waste time. The wineries were great and the views at casa Emma was worth the price itself. Book this tour now!

My family of 4 (including 2 teenage sons) hired Alessandro when we were staying in Florence for a day trip in Tuscany. He warmly greeted us & took us to get coffee, then we stopped by Piazzale Michelangelo on our way out of town for a beautiful view of Florence before all the tourists came. From there we stopped in San Gimignano (loved this town), visited another small town, had lunch at Dario Cechinni's restaurant (you can watch an episode on Netflix's Chef's table about him), and went to a beautiful winery. He was completely flexible about our schedule & had various choices we could chose from . . . and we could decide in the moment. Alessandro was warm, welcoming, flexible, kind, and spoke great English. His rate was very reasonable and I would highly recommend booking with him if you need a driver.

This was our second time using Ale's services. We love him!! This time he did a transfer from Florence to Rome with a stop in Montalcino for a wonderful wine tasting at Fanti winery. Ale is so professional and friendly. We always enjoy our conversations with him!!

I am thrilled to have met Ale - he is a gem! He drove my husband and I from Manarola to Florence, and we could not have been happier. He is a true professional, excellent driver, accommodating, and is a wealth of knowledge! We really enjoyed talking with Ale and learning about him, and Italy, on our drive. It was so much more interesting (and stress-free) than taking the train, and was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. He even surprised us with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence for the best view of the city before taking us to our hotel. Plus, he was kind enough to take time to send us some restaurant recommendations. Needless to say we had an outstanding dinner the following night. We will 100% recommend him to anyone traveling to Italy and cannot wait to connect with him again on future trips. Thank you Alessandro!!

We hired Ale to take us on a private tour of Chianti on our first trip to the area in 2015 and loved our day with him. When we returned to the area for another visit this year, we were very happy to reconnect with him and book him for a private tour of Montalcino and Montepulciano.
Booking a tour with Ale means you will have your own private planner and escort through the area. He makes all of the arrangements and reservations in advance, is pleasant and punctual, and charges much less than others. He took us to a beautiful winery (Fante) for a private tasting where we sat in the sun and enjoyed the experience at our own pace. We then visited Pienza, where he introduced us to the owner of a beautiful restaurant overlooking the water and enjoyed lunch. We would never have known about this town or this restaurant without his help and thought it was excellent. We made several stops to take photos of the scenery along the way. He had a second winery in mind for the afternoon but went with our request of a different one in the town of Montepulciano and was able to call ahead for us that afternoon to reserve a tasting (note: for the best experience, just go with his winery recommendations and don't second-guess it).
Our day in Tuscany with Ale was every bit as enjoyable as our first visit to Chianti. We would absolutely book another tour with him again. Grazie!

We had the most perfect day exploring Tuscany and trying all the wines for our honeymoon! We did the Montepulciano and Brunello region and it did not disappoint. Alessandro took us to the best wineries(that weren’t crowded) and they all had incredible views to take in while drinking delicious wine! He even arranged a little cheese tasting at this beautiful winery
