This fruit stand immediately caught my eye as the fruit was gorgeous. I bought raspberries, peaches, apples, and plums. All of them were so fresh and delicious.

Mauro was so kind and his shop is convenient to Hotel Calzaiuoli and the Duomo. I bought fabulous tasting berries and a bag of candied oranges because it’s still in the “fruit food group.” Omg. Eat them with hot tea and don’t look at the calorie count.

Not that there is such a thing in Florence as a big shop. We were looking for a bottle of wine to take back to our hotel. Unlike the US, these shops have a little bit of everything. The staff was helpful and we got just what we needed. Lots of different items unique to the region.

Food was purchased there by our tour guide for our cooking class. We came back after class to purchase fruits and veggies for later because they looked so good!
As a vegetarian, it was so nice to see a veggie/fruit stand and be able to purchase for later.
The owners were nice as well! I highly recommend this place!

It's not a cheap place but the quality is excellent! And the presentation amazing...
Everybody wants to take picture in front of the store! Actually I saw a beautiful picture in the book titled Florence, at Williams and Sonoma store... and they were in a Nutella commercial too!

This is the best place to shop in Firenze. We have been shopping there for more than 20 years. The owner is wonderful and helpful. The fruits, vegetables, olive oils, wines, and other goodies are delicious and fresh in addition to being priced fairly. The quality of everything is outstanding. Always follow the owner's advice: she really knows what she is doing and if you listen to her you will be very happy.

This little shop seems to be hidden away, but the produce was fresh. We were amazed at how fragrant everything was in comparison to what we buy at the local supermarket. Our food tour stopped here and picked up a few fresh items. The quality was so good, we stopped by the next day before leaving Florence to pick up a few snacks for the train ride to Rome. The fruit and veggies they gave us the second day did not disappoint.
