Silvia reageerde super snel op ons bericht via whatsapp. Zoals ook in de andere reviews beschreven een echte local met hart voor de stad Lucca. Heel interessante rondleiding gehad in zo’n 2,5 uur. Daardoor alle tijd over gehouden om de vele restaurantjes te ontdekken.. We zouden het zeker opnieuw doen!

If you are in Lucca: hire the best guide Silvia. She knows it all, history, nice places, good wine/food. Very nice tour, very good English, humor, and adapts to your wishes. We had been 10 times in Lucca before, be she gave an extra to it this extraordinary time (Covid).

La visita della città di Lucca è stata veramente bella, e chi ha contribuito a farci apprezzare queste bellezze è stata la nostra guida SILVIA.

We had Silvia organize a tour to Pisa after our morning Gourmet tour with her.
She also arranged pick up service from the cruise terminal in Livorno, and return.
Pace of walking tour in Lucca was appropriate, but the gourmet part didn't quite live up to my expectation, as it was at the end of the tour where Silvia left us in the hands of a store owner, who also happened to have another (large ) group of twenty people to serve, where his attention was diverted to. The space was quite tight and we were not given enough info on what we were being introduced to ( food ).
There was also a bit of lack of clarity when it came to pricing discussion during our email correspondence, largely due to all those additional costs involving other agents like tour guide in pisa, and the transportation company .
At the end of the day, the walking tour itself was of very high quality, as Silvia showed her knowledge and ability to educate us on the history of this part of Italy. She also took us to a shop ( upon our request ),on a side street ,selling leather goods that we quite like.

We were thrilled with our decision to book a tour with Silvia. My family and I (sadly) had only one night in Lucca and really wanted to make the most of it. We booked a 10am combo biking/walking tour that was wonderful! Silvia is so friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable about her city. We went through the main squares, small winding streets with shops, visited Puccini’s house, up on the city walls, and even down below inside the walls where they have amazing art installations. I know we never would've seen as much if we had explored on our own.
If you haven’t decided yet whether to go to Lucca or not, GO! I visited 7 or 8 places in Northern Italy last month and Lucca was my favorite. It’s absolutely charming, beautiful, historical feeling but very vibrant at the same time. They also have an incredible summer concert series, Elton John played there in July!
Thank you Silvia, hope to visit Lucca again next year!

We are a group of 6, grandparents, parents and two teenage girls. We wanted to do something a bit different and decided on the bike tour with Silvia - we are so glad we did! Silvia was great! She was very focused on making sure she kept everyone (the kids) engaged and interested. She was accommodating for the two seniors in our group and also started our tour a little ealier so we could avoid the heat of the afternoon. Lucca is a very interesting little town with a unique history that we enjoyed learning about from Silvia. We got great instructions on where to park outside the gate and met Silvia just inside the wall at the bike rental shop. We really enjoyed our time in Lucca with Silvia!

We waren al 2 keer in Lucca geweest en het leek ons leuk nu eens een tour te doen. Gisteren via whatsapp Silvia benaderd en meteen vandaag de classic wandeltour met Silvia gedaan. Wat een leuke en fijne vrouw. Spreekt perfect Engels en is zelf Italiaanse uit Lucca. Ze past zich goed aan aan het publiek (ik dit geval incl. 3 kinderen). Ze heeft ons veel verteld over historie van Lucca, mooie plekken laten zien, waar we leuke dingen konden beleven, ontdekken en zeker ook eten. ze heeft ons uiteindelijk in een lekker lokaal restaurant achter gelaten. We kunnen haar van harte aanbevelen. Geld meer dan waard.

We booked a tour with Silvia, before we arrived in this wonderful part of Italy.
Silvia was great, she gave us a good understanding of the history of Lucca, and gave us a couple of great recommendations of local restaurants.Silvia speaks perfect English as well.

Silvia was so kind to meet our group of the train at the station. She was a fountain of knowledge about the wonderful city of Lucca. We saw so many things that we surely would have missed if it wasn't for Silvia. Her love and passion for the city comes across and she inspires us as we go along. The gourmet treats were delicious and interesting to learn about the preparation of. Something to try back home I hope.
All in all we had a fabulous time with the charming Silvia and would really recommend her service to anyone.

Hello, We want to have a tour late in the afternoon around 18.00-19.00. Can we have a private or not necessary private tour? How much it would be? We have a party of 4. We would not mind to see other people around, but we want to have it later of the day.
