We heard about them from a travel site on Facebook. It was a great night. The wines were delicious and there were so many courses that we could not even finish it all. The setting was gorgeous and this family run business exceeded our expectations. It’s about 3 miles out from the walled city of LUCCA and we had planned to take the bus but were running late so grabbed a cab for around $20 euros. Can’t wait for my case of wine to arrive 🍷🍷🍷

Vi var en venninnegjeng sammen på vinsmaking. Utrolig flotte ansatte, masse god vin og mat. Opplevelsen var litt annerledes en forventet fordi man får mye vin. Det er mer vindrikking, enn vinsmaking. Vi hadde pakke med 6 ulike viner. Utrolig god vin. Opplevelsen ble mye bedre med spontant liveband og mange andre flotte gjester. Anbefales virkelig!

Moment très agréable et sympathique.
Nous sommes ravis de cette petite soirée de dégustation avec les plats qui accompagnent les différents vins.
De plus ,l’endroit est très agréable et le papa du propriétaire est venu discuter avec nous de sa passion du métier.

We had the most wonderful evening at this winery, from the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. We enjoyed 6 interesting wines all paired with top quality bread, fish, meats, cheese & honey, 6 courses. The views are stunning and James & his wife (perfect hosts) tell you the background to the wine and food in each course. You can book on line, short taxi spin from Lucca. Arrive hungry!!! Portions are vey kind. Option to buy wine at end of evening.,This is an amazing experience not to be missed. We will return.

I have been to Napa and Sonoma, California wine Tastings, but they did not compare to the great experience we had at Fattoria al Dotto. Beautiful scenery, great food and wine and a great host! We made the mistake of having lunch in Lucca, not realizing what generous portions of "snacks" we got with each wine we tasted. My family loved it!!
I would highly recommend this experience for a wonderful, restful afternoon in this beautiful location near Lucca. Trip Advisor was spot on!!

Amazing winery with a nice view and delicious food! An absolute value for money and friendly hosts. We arrived without reservation and were welcomed still despite the place was very booked. Our kids loved trying out the different dishes and enjoyed their juice while we enjoyed the wines. Too bad we discovered it only on our last evening in Tuscany, but it definitely was the cherry on top to our vacation!

Our experience at this charming winery was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the husband and wife team who run the farm made us feel incredibly welcome. When they discovered we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a complimentary jar of their delectable honey to take home – a truly sweet gesture that made our day even more memorable.
All of their wines are absolutely delicious and the food, which was sourced directly from their farm, was nothing short of incredible. The bruschetta and tomatoes were undoubtedly the freshest and tastiest I've ever had. (I am a vegetarian and they were very accommodating to alter the menu for me).
Lastly, the setting is so beautiful and picturesque. Here's the kicker – the price was unbelievably affordable for the quality and quantity of what we experienced. This place is a hidden gem!

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre soirée à la Fattoria Al Dotto! Mario et sa femme sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Nous avons bu et mangé des excellents produits de leur vignoble et de leur ferme. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation!

What can we say about James and his dad. Views are stunning, food is excellent and the wine was fantastic. Friendly family orientated, welcomed us as if we where family.

Hi this looks like a fabulous outing - we are thinking of a visit with 4 adults and 5 children. Could you advise how much the tasting is per head and whether you pay for the children too

Hi,
Depending on how many wines you would like, 4 or 6 per person, it cost €25 or €30 respectively depending on the age of the children they do pay as each wine is paired with food and the children obviously pay for the food more than the wine.
You must make a reservation on the website under the experience tab. Once you do reserve within 24 hours you’ll receive a confirmation. We are open Monday through Saturday 1630 2000 with the exceptions of Sundays & Italian holidays. If there are any special requests please let us know that at the time of the reservation as well, know that we have very limited vegetarian options and extremely limited limited limited vegan options.

Hi,
Yes you need to make reservations on the website under the tastings tab and let them know if there any children if they will eat from a set menu of bread with salmon, carpaccio & salumies. They recommend a 2 to 3 hours and the price is €25 for four wines & €30 per 6 wines.

Yes children are very welcome to visit. There is a bus from Lucca which will take to the church (150 meters past us) & the number is bus 53.
