Extraordinaria colección de algunas obras de Picasso predominantemente. Aunque hay también de otros importantes artistas como Matisse, Miró y Klee. Dos horas muy bien invertidas.

Très beau musée présentant une collection unique de toiles de Picasso, présentées très simplement,mais avec un art consommé de l'accrochage, enrichi d'oeuvres de Braque et bien d'autres. A visiter absolument.

We had a great time perusing the incredible variety of art here. It was so peaceful and quiet. We could take our time and really enjoy the Picassos, Matisse and more.

Prolific Picasso is amply on view here. As well as many works by Klee plus other pieces by renowned artists.
Women feature strongly in Picasso’s exhibits. Seated Nude (Dora Maar), Woman in Straw Hat on Floral Background, Portrait of Nusch Eluard, Girl with a Boat, Woman in Grey and Portrait of Dora Maar are just a handful of what is on view.
An exceptional collection of the moderns and well worth spending time with.

Voornamelijk interessant vanwege de geschiedenis die Rosengart had met Picasso en anderen. Grote collectie van werken van werken van Picasso maar zeker niet zijn beste. Daarnaast wat werk van Klee en andere tijdgenoten. Mooi pand wel met alle ruimte voor getoonde werken. Toegangsprijs hoog maar betreft een particuliere collectie. Wel iets om te bekijken als je in Luzern bent.

We came to Sammlung Rosengart by chance as we didn't know it was a museum at first. However, we were totally gobsmacked by the rich collections of Pablo Picasso & Paul Klee, especially with the Picasso's works. The volume of studies & art works from Picasso were amazingly impressive!
We've got Swiss Travel Passes so it's free entrance for us, otherwise it's 18CHF/ adult. Lockers were behind the counter at the entrance & it's free to use. Staffs were friendly!
Highly Recommended for all Picasso's art admirers!

This small museum contains an incredible collection of all things Picasso. Sketches, paintings, even some sculpture plus interesting photos documenting his friendship with his patroness.

Wonderful visit to this small but fascinating museum. Don't wait for a rainy day, just go if you have an hour or two and want to be dazzled by amazing art.

Viel Picasse, viel Klee und dann noch ein paar mehr. Was auffällt, auf ca der hälfte sind Brüste gezeichnet, und ich frage mich schon, war das vor 100 Jahren das, was "die Männer" angetörnt hat.
