อัศจรรย์ ! เรานั่งกระเช้าไฟฟ้าจาก Paradiso ไปยัง monte san Salvatore มีระเบียงเล็ก ๆ ใต้ร้านอาหารที่เราสามารถมองเห็นได้ไกลถึงเมืองมิลาน จากนั้นเราก็เดินขึ้นเขา วิวสวยขึ้นเรื่อยๆ บนยอดเขาคือโบสถ์ซานซัลวาตอเร เราปีนบันไดขึ้นไปบนชั้นดาดฟ้าของโบสถ์และ . . ว้าว ! มุมมอง 360 องศาของพื้นที่ทั้งหมด ตะลึงแน่นอน!

Definitiv einen Audflug wert, die Aussicht von oben ist malerisch und einzigartig. Die paar Meter zum Dach der kleinen Kirche sind jeden Schritt wert. Auch das Angebot im Restaurant ist gut, Preise völlig in Ordnnung. Personal durchgehend sehr freundlich.

Partendo da Lugano centro in direzione Paradiso, incastonata tra palazzi di 10 15 piani c e la funicolare pe ril Monte.
Andateci, soprattutto se la giornata è chiara, non nebbiosa.
Pian piano ci si lascia alle spalle la citta e si sale sul Monte, dove potete ammirare il Lago, le cime innevate, l aeroporto e la nostra Campione.

Amazing ! we took a funicular from Paradiso to monte san Salvatore. There is a small terrace under the restaurant where we could see as far as Milan. then we walked up the hill, the view was getting more and more beautifull. At the top of the hill is san Salvatore church. We climbed the stairs to the rooftop of the church and ... wooow ! a 360 degrees view of the whole region. Absolutly stunning!

Worth the cost of the funicular (especially if you can get the tickets at half price using your GA card) just for the experience of the trip and ultimately the views from the top.

Lovely mountain top views and good facilities at the top. Nice ride to the top with the Funicular. A good trip to make when in Lugano. Can also walk down from the top if feeling adventurous.

Intermediate hike

The base of the hike is easy to access by walking from downtown Lugano or by taking a bus. The hike is somewhat challenging as it is mainly stairs from the base to the top and it takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes depending on the pace of your walk. Once you arrive at the top the view is incredible. There is a lovely restaurant with great food, staff, and of course the same spectacular view. There is also the opportunity to take a funicular ride from top to bottom or just 1 way if you would prefer to hike. I would definitely recommend visiting Monte San Salvatore if you are travelling to Lugano.

Nice mountain, disorganized train

The mountain itself is amazing. The view over Lugano is probably the best you can have. Unfortunately the train company is very disorganized. When we wanted to go down we missed a train because it left 10 minutes early to the schedule. We then had to wait for an hour before the next train arrived. We were not allowed to enter the train and the wagon left without any passenger! Another 30 minutes later we could finally drive down. We had to wait more than 90 minutes without any information from the company why there was a delay and when we could go down (otherwise we would have waited in the Restaurant). It fas February, cold and very windy.

If you really want to get the beat views and lovely scenery this is the must cost while you are around lake Lugano it’s magnificent at day and night with all the bright lights
