De indrukwekkende kathedraal is zowel binnen als buiten de moeite waard. Enkel de toren langs de buitenkant valt wat tegen omdat hij in baksteen is.

A treasure inside and out. Too much to take in. If you are very interested there are guides sometimes (not sure how this works, just saw them). The stained windows, the architecture, peace inside and just the general feel make this a must see to me, Don't miss the climb if you can get tickets in summer (hugely popular). The organ is often missed by tourist, just look and absorb. There are little (and big) treasures around every corner, take your time. Remember to respect the various services, this is a working church.

Επιβλητικός Καθεδρικός Ναός! Ο Γοτθικός του ρυθμός το καθιστά ένα επιβλητικό διαμάντι! Τα γοτθικά μεσαιωνικά βιτρώ είναι σκέτη μαγεία. Σε ταξιδεύει πίσω στον χρόνο. Αξίζει να τον επισκεφθείτε.

Beautiful church with an excellent guided tour! Unfortunately the tour was in dutch but they gave us a leaflet in english! You can book a private tour in english

Une cathédrale pas forcement très imposant par ses dimensions mais plutôt par ces décors extérieurs : statue sur les arcs boutant, superbes tympans sur les entrées latérales.
L'intérieur présente de jolis vitraux, un bel orgue. Mais cela est fortement gâché par l'exposition actuelle dans le déambulatoire... présentant en autre une statue avec des poches et des cathéters chirurgicaux ...
En conclusion : belle édifice mais moche exposition !!

Prachtig om van binnen te zien en leuk dat ze ook regelmatig lokale tentoonstellingen hebben.

A magnificent cathedral unlike anything one might expect to see in the Netherlands. Besides a superb interior, the east end of the exterior is so peaceful. We went back multiple times.

The greatness and splendour of the cathedral was marred by unfriendly reception and lack of information.
I had visited the cathedral and was apparently too late (though the doors were open and other people strolled in behind me). This triggered a janitor who took it upon himself to expel me in an aggressive and uncharacteristically unchristian way, which naturally frightened me and in that shock, froze, thinking he might physically assault me. I continued to scream and shout, claimed I had downs syndrome (or some other mental illness- in Dutch) and when I attempte to make a formal complaint, I was not given the opportunity, the man claiming that the church was his.
The whole experience sheds light on the lack of preparedness for corona as well as international tourists and frankly it defeats the purpose of such a beautiful structure.

The climb to the top of the tower is available only as part of the Jhieronymus Bosch 500th anniversary celebration. At the end of October 2016, the tower tour will again close to the public. If you want to go, here's the information:

If there is a group of 8 people or more who want to visit ‘s Hertogenbosch, the local VVV (tourist) office staff is able to make the reservation for them, perhaps in combination of other activities. For example city walks with a tour guide, lunches, boat tours and diners also.
It’s possible to organize a personal program to make your visit to ‘s Hertogenbosch unforgettable.
