Die Aussicht ist toll. Die Bar ist gut, sowohl innen als auch außen.
Die Photos am Eingang ist abzocke! Zunächst heisst es, sie seien kostenlos zum runterladen, dann muss man sie aber doch kaufen oder gibt sich mit einem screenshot zufrieden. An den Wartenden vorbeigehen ist dringend zu empfehlen!

Not Much To It If You Don't Swing

It's a cool place. You don't have to go on the swing, and from the rooftop it didn't look as scary. It's 20 floors to the top, and you get a light show while on the elevator. Book tickets in advance if you want to do the swing. There's also a bar up there, but we didn't try food. Entrance fee is 16.50, but seems to have a slight discount if you book online.

Am Abend ist es noch schöner, da die Stadt hell erleuchtet.

Beautiful but expensive for what it is

Interesting place with a beautiful view, but not worth the 14,50 euros entrance ticket.
There is a bar and a restaurant and on the top, a terrace with a view and a swing. If you are visiting during cold months, take a warm coat with you because up there it can get very cold.

Pricey but a Great Experience

The lookout is very easy to get to via the free ferry across the river from centraal station. The view is 10/10 at night time and the bar was a great experience with great service, especially from Emil (not sure if I've spelled his name right). There is a smoking area on the roof where the swing is. It is a bit pricey for what you are getting (but isn't everything in Amsterdam?) and I probably wouldn't do it again, but I'm glad we did.

Excellent experience. We took a package of climbing to the tower including 2 drinks. The view was stunning. We also got to see some snow fall. and then a clear sky. It is possible to buy a ticket for a swing on the roof as well. We didn't go on the swing because it was too cold. But there are those who have overcome it. There is a free shuttle from the train to the tower. recommended.

Definietly enjoyed it, a cool place. Expensive, as everything in Amsterdam, but I don't regret it. You can hang out on the rooftop, admiring the view. We also had a chance to try out a VR experience for free.

You do have to pay extra for quality photos/videos.

Going up the adam tower outlook and going on the over the edge swing was the best thing about our stay in the city. So much fun and digital photos included in the price which is nice. Booking online also cheaper.
