We did all but one of the rooms at Escape World and they were quite average.

A lot of the clues didn’t make sense or weren’t logical. We had one room where a key was missing and another room where one of the puzzles was missing a piece.

The only game I’d recommend here would be Cabin in the Woods.

First and last time...

Please don't go here. Worst gamemaster ever. The game depends on communicating with the gamemaster, but he responded late to every text, wasting your time. Also, the whole storyline is in Dutch, while they clearly state the room is in English.

Another weird thing happened with a key. The key was placed in a terrible spot, therefore the key fell and we had to look for it for like 10 min. We were left on our own, so 10 min were wasted and the game was over. The worker came in and blamed us for the key. I don't think I have ever seen such an unfriendly worker. He did not care a single bit and just walked away. We left the building and nobody was there to be seen. This was by far my worst escape room...

Met onze familie van zes (oudste eind 50 en jongste mid 20) speelden we de kamer Cabin in the Woods.

Mijn familie en ik raakten op weg naar huis, en eenmaal thuis, niet uitgepraat over Escape World en The Cabin in the Woods. We bleven maar vertellen over alle leuke en verrassende opdrachten. Over dat moment waarop we dachten dat we er al bijna waren, en toen bleek dat we dat absoluut nog niet waren. De speciale elementen die een verrassende twist aan de escape room gaven maken dat ik, ondanks dat ik helemaal uit Friesland moet komen, absoluut nog een keer een kamer bij Escape World wil spelen.

Mijn familie en ik hebben een heerlijke dagje uit gehad, en zijn nog steeds aan het nagenieten van The Cabin in the Woods.

Great experience, great service!

We arrived with 8 kids , they all had a great time. One group managed to escape in time, the other did not but that did not matter. The service is nice, the puzzels were very challenging but nice and original. and the kids where really into the experience and could not stop talking about it afterworths. Thanks Escape World!!

Wir haben zwei Räume gespielt. Midnight Magic (mittlerer Schwierigkeitsgrad) und Die Schokoladenfabrik (schwer).
Midnight Magic hat spaß gemacht. Schöne Rätsel und coole Kulissen. Aber die Schokoladenfabrik hat uns wirklich gefordert und geflasht.
Wir haben ein bisschen Überzeit bekommen und den Raum dann doch noch geschafft :)
Es waren viele kniffelige Rätsel bei denen man echt um die Ecke denken muss. Ich empfehle ihn, im Gegensatz zu Midnight Magic nur für erfahrene Spieler.
Besonders möchte ich unsere Spielleiterin Ewa/Eva erwähnen. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht sich von ihr durch die Geschichten leiten zu lassen. Vielen Dank!
Wir kommen gern wieder für die Cabin in the Woods und den Dutchman ;)

Onze eerste ervaring in een escaperoom was geweldig. Werden goed ontvangen en er werd goed uitgelegd wat verwacht werd. Onze Game Master Noureddine was ook erg hulpvol en aardig

Wij zaten met een groep vrienden in cabin in the woods en dat is echt een leuke escape room. Onze game master was Melvin en hij was aardig en duidelijk. Het is zeker een aanrader!

Escape from Midnight Magic

This escape room is like walking the corridors of Hogwarts. Set across multi rooms its well set out and geared up with challenging puzzels and games. Its nice to play a room thats not all padlocks and some new locking ideas that are truly Magical
Helpful staff and good clues when needed
Definatly worth a visit and we will certainly try another room next time we are in Amsterdam

Completed tasks in 5 areas - clever and varied puzzles. Eva was a great help and she was great at welcoming us, setting the scene and explaining what we had to do.
