The 5 stars are filled in by a paid organization. There is no way you can give RET 4 stars. Bad company. Buses, trams are being removed throughout Rotterdam. I travel less by metro but much less also during rush hours. Trams and buses are removed, you have to walk a lot on another line to be able to catch. Rotterdam is getting busier and busier, but that is not important for ret. They say fewer people travel by public transport. You didn't. They make it very difficult, but really difficult for everyone, they don't take the elderly into account. Some parts of Rotterdam, do not run trams or buses. You have to walk about 20 minutes to catch another connect. Sending a complaint doesn't help. It's a terrible thing. It gets more expensive and expensive, 1.5 hour ticket is quickly almost 5 euros and you can not even sit and you have to make a lot of effort to reach your destination. Times at the stops are wrong. Is easily said, you can watch online or RET and 92920v. I am so sorry. Nothing will be announced. You look like a fool with nowhere to turn. RET is 1 of the bad organization.

What a farce.
Bought day tickets through the app. We were fans. No possibility of paper tickets at the machines, but found this sustainable.
BUT on the sixteen gates we could pass four, the other gates remained. He couldn't read our digital code. Even if you already got in.
Just a lottery!
Not recommended.

As RET has an almost monopoly on public transport in Rotterdam, this company, owned by the regional government, should do their best to offer good and reliable service to their customers. But lately I had occasion to make some bus trips with RET and my conclusion is, that their best isn't good enough. On time service: non existent. Comfort: far and in between with overloaded busses with standing room only. Fares: so high that going by car and suffering the parking charges in Rotterdam is cheaper when traveling with two or more persons.

tram transfer may be paid on the tram by credit card if no prior ticket purchase. Don't forget - easy to use scan your credit card when in and out of tram so you're charged only for the trip.

We took RET metro line E between Rotterdam and Den Haag as well as city trams. Service is frequent and on-time and trams neat and clean. The one-day ticket is of great use for tourists.

Although we didn't go in the Summer months, we cannot praise highly enough the RET transport system. We were staying in Amsterdam but took the train to Rotterdam for the day. Once there, a 9.50 Euro ticket at the information point in Rotterdam Central station gives you access to Metro, buses and trams which are so well integrated, timeous and spotlessly clean. There are free maps, physical and available to download with a QR code, which make using the system and getting around to see all you want very simple and quick. We covered the whole city and had lunch too.

RET runs the local public services in the Rotterdam area as well as a bit further afield. There are metro services and tram and bus services.
You can get a day ticket for Nine Euros to use around the city. Some of the metro services are not very intensive. For example the service from the Hoek Van Holland is every 30 minutes.

Das Netz des Rotterdamer ÖPNV ist hervorragend, auch alles sehr sauber. Man sollte nur immer ausreichend Kleingeld dabei haben - oder eine Karte, bei der im Ausland keine Gebühren anfallen. Scheine werden von den Automaten nicht akzeptiert, nur Münzen. Oder halt elektronische Zahlung. Für Touristen gibt es entweder Tageskarten oder Einzelfahrkarten. Per App soll das inzwischen auch gehen - muß ich dann beim nächsten Mal ausprobieren.

efficientissima rete di trasporti di Rotterdam che comprende tram. bus e metro con cui si arriva ovunque con molta facilità. La linea metro arriva fino a Den Haag.
Noi abbiamo comprato la Rotterdam Welcome card per 3 giorni (12.50 euro a testa), con cui abbiamo avuto diversi sconti sugli ingressi di molte attrazioni( Spido, museo di storia naturale, case cubiche): Si può acquistare anche per uno o per due giorni
Abbiamo usato soprattutto i tram, comodissimi e molto frequenti. Su ogni tram si trova una postazione con un controllore, a volte anche due.
Tutti i biglietti e tutti gli abbonamenti devono essere strisciati sia quando si sale che quando si scende.

I would like to know :1- if the chipkaart can be used on trains leaving from Rotterdam, to say, Gouda or the Hague, and also, is there some sort of map or guide on the use of what sort of transportation is included and to where? I do not seem to see this anywhere online, even on the chipkaart website! Confusing, as to where I can use it, what type of transportation.etc. Also, 2- can the same chipkaart be used to go from Rotterdam Centraal, into Amsterdam airport directly? So many questions for me need answers, and I cannot find them on the Netherlands websites. One more question: 3- we are going to be arriving at the cruiseport on a Sunday, and staying for three days in Rotterdam- is there a place to purchase the chipkaart in the cruiseport? It said somewhere there is a tourist desk (not sure exactly where?) at the cruiseport, no directions to where it is. 4-Do they sell the chipkaart there, so I can use it (with luggage) into city central (Rotterdam Centraal) where our hotel is located?
