This is just a statue of Mr. Sax sitting on a park bench, but it's a fun photo op and something unique about the town of Dinant. The bench is right outside the (free) museum located in his old house. The statue and museum aren't necessarily worth going out of your way for, but if you're planning to visit the town and its impressive citadel anyway, this is just a short walk away from the major bridge and worth stopping by.

Teleurstelling heel klein en weinig info. Geen eerbetoon aan Adolph. Ook geen info over de ontwikkelingen vd saxofoon de afgelopen 2 eeuwen.

LA photo à faire, toujours beaucoup de monde autour Monsieur Sax sur son banc... Puis visiter la maison juste derrière le banc, consacrée au saxophone. Pour compléter la découverte culturelle de la ville.

Bonjour,
Je souhaiterais me séparer auprés de bonnes mains et des connaissances d'un musicien collectionneur d'instruments de musique d'un trés rare saxophone en laiton doré Alto en mi b numéroté (série 1861) et signé : Facteur de la Maison de l'Empereur ,Adolphe Sax à Paris,complet,avec son bec d'origine en ébéne,et en bon état,donc si une personne considére connaitre la valeur de cet instrument historique,elle est bienvenue pour me contacter.

Pour pouvoir vous répondre je devrais faire quelques démarches. Mais entre temps pourquoi ne vous vous mettriez pas en contact avec le musée Adolphe Sax j’ai l’impression qu’il serait très compétent à vous remettre tout renseignement compétent. À-M.D

ceci n'est pas une question je ne sais pas si je peux l'écrire ici mais voilà ce que je voulais dire à Monsieur Georges de Liège... Vous avez raison pour l'instant, tout le monde est d'accord avec vous, mais n'hésitez pas à y revenir dans quelques temps quand les travaux seront finis (ça risque encore de prendre du temps) et puis revoyez votre jugement sur la ville... bonne journée
