This is a really nice hike. The terrain is a bit rocky and lots of roots, but most people shouldn't have any problem. The waterfall is really nice. Looking for a quick hike in the Fosco area -- this is it.

At the end of a fabulous week at otter falls. What a beautiful place... stayed in an amazing spacious lodge right on lake. Lots of wildlife. Lodge had everything we needed. Hubby loved the fishing 🎣. Will definitely return 😀

Nice, well-maintained trails with multiple great views of a long series of waterfalls. Plenty of big rocks for picnics & resting. Benches along the trails if you need a break,

Beautiful! We went almost to the end and followed the creek through the rocks. It was a climb, but well worth it. The actual trails leading to the falls are great, we saw kids doing them. Only came to do the trail but well worth the hike down past it!

Good short hike to pass time. The hike back up is hard but I am not in shape so experienced hikers will have no problem. The water falls are pretty. Good photo opportunity at the bottom. I will not return though. It’s more of a one and done kind of thing.

Nice mile or so hike (round trip) down to a beautiful little waterfall. The falls drops about 20 ft. Study the trail map and watch the trail blazes, there are a couple of tricky forks, which could make the hike longer. The trails around the falls are rocky and slippery when wet. It's also uphill all the way back to the parking lot.

Took our 7 and 3 yr olds here this morning. Great spot for a manageable hike. Limited amount of parking and the map leads you to believe the trails are much longer than they actually are but if you’re reading this you’ll be aware of that beforehand. Definitely coming back on our next visit to the NC mountains!

FIRST HINT: Snap a picture of the map at the start of the hike!! There are multiple paths and you will be confused on which way to go without knowing what the various colored arrows along the path mean. Even with the map some intersections are confusing but it's not nearly as big an area as the map makes it look. After that hint, enjoy a nice hike to see a very pretty waterfall!

Beautiful waterfalls! An easy morning hike with my 10 year old. It was a bit slippery and muddy from rain the night before.

Lucked out with a warm day and we got to play in the falls. If you are up for it you can rock hop down the stream. Perfect hike for our group that had kids ages 8-11.
