Fabulous sandy beach shelving into the sea.Has many weird and wonderful rock formations,including not so deep caves.Has many sheltered "nooks and crannies",ideal for sunbathing or paddling/swimming in the sea.
Drawbacks is that it lacks any facilities(e.g.toilets) and for the main,you have for the best part have to navigate many,many steps to get down to it.

It is a very nice sandy beach but we hope that they have water activities and open bars as we needed to go back to hotel just to get our drinks or snacks. Other than that, it is a very nice beach

Clean, usual facilities but no public WC. ATM. Safe for children. 2km long. Wide and shallow. bins but no recycling g=bins. Road access and steps or slops. West facing. Safe.

I emailed weeks before travelling asking for a ground floor room due to a broken foot and they confirmed on arrival that I had what I requested so cannot fault service. Excellent hotel with great staff. Lovely area with plenty to do. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Praia bonita mas demasiado pequena para a quantidade de pessoas que serve...Agua do mar limpa mas gelada na altura em que lá estive (fins de junho), tornando quase impossível um mergulho...É dificil relaxar nesta praia dada a quantidade de jovens que muitas vezes de manhã já estão alcoolizados e ,também devido ao barulho ao redor...Ha praias muito melhores em Albufeira..Tem muito comércio em volta, mas é quase tudo direcionado para ingleses. Para tomar uma bebida e comer aconselho o Tea Oriental que fica mesmo frente à praia, os preços não são excessivos e come-se muito bem. Além disso, foi o único local em que nos trataram com amabilidade, mesmo sendo portugueses.

Not sure on weather in April. It’s closer to the strip than the old town but you can walk to the old town across the beach in about 25 minutes. It’s a good spot for visiting other bays
