Great little bar and Joe (or Kim as he goes by both names) was a fantastic host. We dropped in every day of our visit and the welcome and hospitality afforded to us was first class.
Drinks were well priced and generous in size when we had spirits. Each time we ordered we were also served free nibbles which was a nice touch.

This is a great bar I always enjoy visiting before heading into the wonderful Old Town.
This bar is now called Bar Drop In ,a great interior, nice decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets leading down to the elevators that bring you down to the Old Town.
We were here on a Wednesday evening, bar was busy with a great atmosphere, we got bottles of Sagres beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
My beer was exceptional, a light,hoppy and unpretentious beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Bar Drop In ( Bar a BE. CE ) is easy to locate along Rua Das Telecomunicações.
Well worth checking out.

We visited this bar a few nights of our stay on our way into the square, service is friendly and welcoming fully stocked bar ,the coctails looked nice... the bar has a mix of local and tourists which is nice sports shown also . Beer is cheap and large measures poured 😁 will use again

We were heading to the wonderful Old Town and decided to drop into this superb little locals bar that we visited last year were we had a great time and so on our latest holiday to Albufeira we couldn't wait to revisit here again and again we were not disappointed.
This is a cool little bar,nice decor and furnishings,TV's to enjoy the sports and a cool raised serving bar that has some nice seating ,it looks unique and is a centrepiece of the bar.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Friday night and this bar was just starting to get busy with a cracking atmosphere.
A very pleasant member of staff took our order to a couple of bottles beers and we opted to have that most Portuguese of beers namely Sagres beer and these beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and served with a nice bowl of peanuts.
The Sagres beer was outstandingly good,this beer is a really light and hoppy beer and perfect for the hot weather you get in this beautiful sun drenched resort.
We really enjoyed our beers in here but we reluctantly moved on to meet our friends and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Bar A.Be.CE is really easy to locate on the way to the Old Town and is found on Rua Das Telecomunicacoes.
A great bar and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

I have visited this bar on many occasions over the last 5 years and am annoyed with myself, as this is the first review I have ever written for it. Apologies therefore go to the owner and the Lady who works with him, as it's well worth a visit and is popular with both tourists and local people. The Bar is located near the apartments we usually stay in and we invariably go there at after dinner for Port and Maciera Brandy (the owner will know who we are if he reads this review!). Service is very friendly and efficient at all times and drinks are served with a small bowl of salted peanuts or on occasions, hot mini toasts with pepperoni. The Lady who works in the Bar was annoyed with me on our last visit to the Bar this year, as I brought our glasses back to the bar prior to paying. Absolutely no harm done and she is a lovely, friendly Lady, who enjoys her job and is very efficient. The owner of the Bar (I'm annoyed that I don't know his name, but that's my fault!) is professional, friendly and very efficient. He is so professional that he refused a drink this year as he was working, which is a measure of the man.
Drinks are very reasonably priced at 2.80 Euros for a Maciera Brandy or Port and the Bar is relaxed and comfortable. I will definitely return to the Bar when I'm next in Albufiera and hope the current owner is still there.

We visited this pub on many occasions on our recent visit to Albufeira.
Lovely drink, lovely atmosphere and a lovely reception from the host.
Doesn't look anything to write home about from the exterior (don't judge a book by its cover) but we loved it.
Would recommend to anyone
