Easily the best tour on the island. Phillipe is an amazing leader, who's patience and relaxed demeaner instills confidence in the most novice of drivers- like my daughter and I! His knowledge, stories and experience of San Miguel is very informative. Going up to and seeing Sete Cidades from in the clouds was exhilarating. The views of the mountains, and ocean from the back roads are breathtaking The whole day is packed with back roads, town roads and steep climbs and descents. Really an amazing experience, which my family and I will cherish forever. My only complaint is that the day had to end. Don't miss this chance to see San Miguel from a amazing perspective!

10 / 10 Recommend! We had an awesome time with our guide and would love to do another ride with the Azores Outdoor activities team. After being unsure about the professionalism and legitimacy of all of the different Sao Miguel touring 4x4 options we were so thankful and impressed with this experience. Beautiful and worthwhile ride even on a day with less than ideal weather.

Definitely one of the best highlights of our trip to Sao Miguel. Philippe was a superb guide and took us on a wonderful, exciting scenic adventure. Highly recommend adding this to your Azores experience.

This was such a fun and unique way to see part of the island! The guides were very kind and informative. We actually booked for three people with three quads, but when we got there realized that one person didn't have enough experience to drive one, but they were able to ride on the back with someone else. So definitely have some knowledge of quad/ATV/motor bike riding if you plan to drive one! We felt very safe and comfortable.

Great views, Great tour guide!!
Was such a fun experience, the tour guide ensured everyone was ok and kept checking in on us, ensuring we had a great experience. The views were fantastic as well, such a beautiful island!

From start to finis this experience was amazing!! The views were phenomenal and the atvs were easy to drive. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Sao Miguel!! This was 12/10!!

The most amazing experience with the most amazing host ! Literally the best activity to do in Sao Miguel , I enjoyed a half day with my wife riding a top of the range quad bike that was well maintained , we visited sete cidades and enjoyed a breathtaking view of the volcano and lakes situated inside , the host explained how the use the vehicle safely and he was extremely kind and pleasant . I personally wanted to stay on the quad and follow him round all day ! This is a must if you visit the island and I for one will be returning next year and will be booking atleast twice ! The best ever we Thankyou so much for such a fun day love the Webb’s

Hi, I was wondering if the driving licence was obligatory? We are 4, both adults have a driving licence. I have a temporary driving licence (in Belgium you get a temporary driving licence for 1 year and a half and after that I will have my official one) and my boyfriend doesn't have a driving licence but he did quad many times without it...So is it possible to do the activity without it?

Hi,
Driving license(official card/document) is required for the activity. The roads are public and subject to police control.
As long as your drinving license alows you to drive in Belgium we dont see any problem.

We arrive on the Regal Princess Cruise ship on Sunday April 26 at 8 am. We would like to book the 9am Quad Half Day Tour, one quad each for two adults. Please let us know how far the pickup point is from the cruise terminal, also would we have any problem making it to the pickup point by 9 am. Thank you.

Hello, I would like to know if we take the 9h00 excursion and our ship (The Crown Princess) is arriving at 9h00. Is it possible to reserve for the 9h00 AM schedule. Is it far from the port of call to your place.
