Airport pickup

We arranged to be picked up from the airport to the hotel and returned and the whole process went smoothly and both drivers kept us informed. Paulo Jose Nobre Vilhena who took us to our hotel was a mine of information about Lisbon.

Peace of mind getting to airport on time

We had an early morning flight home after 3 weeks in Portugal. The last nights we stayed in an "old bario" of Lisbon which was about a half hour from the airport. While we used Bolt (similar to Umber and Lyft) while in Portugal the chances of getting one up at 5 am in the morning is hit and miss anywhere let alone in Lisbon. So we looked for a transfer that would schedule ahead for an early pickup. Lisbon Tours and Transfers responded with a fair trip price and guaranty for pick up. They set up a driver when we needed them and provided contact information for him the night before. He was 5 minutes early and guaranteed a time that they would wait for us to get to his location that we had picked. Sergio loaded our bags into the new Mercedes Mini-van that was electric and very comforatable and spacious given all the small Bot cars we had riden in over our time in Portugal.

For peace of mind and easy payment I absolutely would reccomend Lisbon Tours and Transfer. Sergio was friendly and helpful.

We received from our driver a lot of tips, piece of advise and recommandations for our 3 days in Lisbon

We booked Welcome Pickups to transfer our family of 5 to the airport. Our assigned driver contacted us a week before our transfer to make us aware of the potential for the driver to be delayed due to it being World Youth Day in Lisbon, and the Pope was arriving too. We messaged back and forth and I moved our transfer time up, and Nuno was extremely responsive. Nuno arrived early in a beautiful Mercedes van to accomodate our family of 5. He fought through traffic to get us to the airport early, and even drove us right to the elevator in the underground lot and told us exactly how to get to our gate.

I have already recommended Welcome Pick ups to my travel agent.

Easy way to get from airport

Airport transfers there and back, welcome pick ups is an easy to book, easy to use way to get into the city. Fantastic drivers who gave us great knowledge about Lisbon and Paulo even drove past the Benfica stadium so I could take a pic for my son! So much easier than faffing with metros or buses especially if you have an early or late flight. Have used welcome pickups in Lisbon and Athens and will use them again on city breaks.

I booked this service for a pickup at the Lisbon airport, as well as a trip from our AirBnB to the airport. In both cases, the drivers canceled. Luckily Uber was available.

Full details: prior to my arrival in Lisbon, I had booked a transfer for 5 people with 5 bags. The day before the driver texted me and said that he did not think that his car (which the service reserved for me) would work. He offered to upgrade my car at a 50% increase in cost (or 3x what an Uber cost). I declined and asked them to cancel and refund my money. I did get a message that my cancelation did not merit a refund since it was within 24 hours, which I found humorous since their service caused the problem.

Similarly, on my return to the airport the driver thought the car was too small. I asked to cancel and refund, which they did. Then the drive said he misunderstood the number of bags and said he could take us. I tried to book again and after waiting 5 hours for a response they canceled. Luckily Uber
allowed me to prebook a car.

I will not use this service again.

Taxi ride with a happy ending

Coming in after a long flight (we’ve booked ahead a prepaid ride to the hotel)we were so relieved to see Monica waiting with our name sign. She’s drove us in her spotless car, very professionally to the hotel, answering our questions on the way. When we got to the hotel,
Before leaving, she’s checked the car and retrieved my phone (which I’ve left behind).
That alone made the day!!🙏

Smooth and comfortable transfer

we had a transfer to and from Lisbon airport to our hotel in Cascais. The drivers were on time, helpful and informative. The cars were spacious and were perceived as fresh and safe. We were offered water bottles and given tips on various activities and places that could be interesting to visit. It was the third time we used this service and we have always been satisfied.

Antion . our driver was very helpful with tups and advise . he contacted us while we were in the bags reclaim. took us to collect our Lisboa card at the airport.. chattie on the way in . gave us some good advise. thank you Antionio
