Great Tour for History Lovers

What a fantastic Tour!! This Battle History tour is worth the long drive (yes, it's a long day!). After the museum of Thebes were taken to the town of Plataea for one of the best meals we had in Greece. If you are reading this review, it means you are considering booking it. Do it now! You won't regret it, but again, this is for history lovers. Highly Recommended!

Delphi pilgrimage

Nikolaios promptly responded to out WhatsApp messages before collecting us from our hotel in a very comfortable car. He was very knowledgeable and an extremely pleasant person. He took us to all the places advertised on the tour, the pinnacle being for me, the ruins of the Delphic oracle. But the journey was almost as breathtaking as the destination; he drove us through the gorgeous mountains north of Athens and pointed out so many sites that we had only learned about as ancient history students. It was amazing to actually see them but we would never have realised without him imparting such thorough knowledge of the terrain. He also took us to a wonderful place for lunch. I cannot recommend this tour and Nikolaios highly enough.

The most amazing tour, full of information and the important sites that we wanted to visit, a MUST DO

The only thing that I can say about this tour is that it was absolutely amazing and our tour guide Philip was not only professional, but very knowledgeable, kind and polite. As a travel professional, I know the importance of customer service and care and has mastered both qualities wonderfully. He is definitely a wonderful addition to the Greece Taxi company. The sights were amazing and hands down thee BEST tour I have ever taken. I have already shared this tour with several clients I have traveling there.

Great day trip

Our guide Phillipe was great! His anecdotes connected the passing landscapes with Greek history. He also knew when we had heard enough and didn’t overwhelm us with his knowledge.
We all had a great time and would recommend the trip to anyone who wants to have a great time while learning about wine and exploring a bit of Greece.

Best experience

Christos is a very experienced driver and very knowledgeable. He will answer all questions you have, keep interesting conversation, and take you to all the places for good photos. He went out of his way at the end to show me how to get to the Acropolis and which restaurants to dine at when I came back from the tour. This experience was amazing and I don’t think there’s any better drivers than Christos. Thank you!!

Off season Sparta!

Ancient Sparta was absolutely amazing, and we think the off season made it so much better! We were able to go our own pace and Cristos was very flexible and great to talk with about everything and anything!

Amazing time visiting Poseidon Temple

The driver Christos is super kind and professional. He picked me up on time, made several stops along the way for the sceneries, and offered interesting introductions.

The Poseidon temple is a must-see site in the suburb of Athens. It is located by the seaside among the mountain, which makes it a special landmark here in Greece.

Fantastic Trip to Sparta

This is overall a fantastic trip. We departed in the morning from Athens, went to see the magnificent Corinth Canal first. Then headed straight to Sparta to see the archeological sites and museums there. We also visited Corinth as the last stop.

The driver was really patient and responsible. Safe and comfortable driving was offered along with thorough guide. He also patiently waited for me and helped take pictures for me.

This trip includes basically all important sites in Sparta. So if you are interested in Sparta as an important ancient polis, this trip is highly recommended.

Enjoyable&Unforgettable Trip

Very enjoyable and unforgettable experience overall. The driver is a nice and friendly person. He made stops following the itinerary and gives thorough introductions. The arrangement of time was also careful which ensures that we can go through all the landmarks. We also took lots of pictures along the way, thanks to the patience of the driver. Though the trip is a long one, the driving was professional, which made me feel safe.

This itinerary is closely related to Ancient Greek history, so if you are interested in Ancient Greek culture, choosing this trip is highly recommended:)
