This was a well managed day trip to Imbros Gorge where we enjoyed a pleasant walk through the impressive gorge, enjoying the dramatic colour changes in the rock faces and keeping an eye out for the goats! Our tour guide, Daphne, provided some details about the morphology of the landscape as we drove from north to south Crete, and provided clear instructions for the self-guided walk. The gorge walk is not difficult - the rocks can be a little slippery in places, or there is loose shale underfoot at times, but it’s nothing anyone reasonably used to walking couldn’t manage with appropriate footwear. Following the walk we could not go to the planned destination of Frangokastello due to it apparently being closed for the season due to unexpected weather conditions, which seemed a little odd to have only been found out that day (as the tour guide explained). However, we went to Sfakion instead which, though very small, was a pleasant place to spend an hour swimming in the crystal-clear blue sea. A large number of pickups and drop offs made this a rather long day but worth it for the ease of getting to this otherwise difficult-to-reach location without a car.

Wonderful guides. Good bus with good AC! Went to Balos and Gramvousa. Despite a lot of wind we still had a very nice experience. Went on a big ferry, good food and drink, reasonable prices on the boat. Fresh toilets on board.

A fantastic Samaria Gorge trip. Bought initially through GetYourGuide and delievered locally by Io Tours. Communication was fantastic, everything ran on time and seamless.
Wonderful hike led by Pari, who was friendly, super organised and obviously an expert hike leader.
100% recommend.

Perfect trip! Cnossos is asthonishing and the travel was perfect. Our guide was very kind and very cultivated, I think she's an archeologist. She gave us rich and fascinating explanations concerning both history, archaeology and mythology which made our visit even richer. It was a unique emotion to see Cnossos Palace and Dedalus' labyrinth and the Heraklion Museum and it was a pleasure to listen to her. Times too were very well chosen, and we could appreciate the beautiful and pittoresque city of Rethymno. The driver too was very nice. Strongly recommended !

The views were awesome. Many good photoshoot opportunities. The fullday experience in Balos och Gramvousa took 12h from 8am-8pm.

Booked through an agency for day trip to Elafonisi. The guide, Dmitry, was very knowledgeable and a very good guide, also amusing. The driver, Adonis, was careful. The luxury air conditioned coach was okay, I wouldn't call it luxury, but it was a coach. It did have air conditioning, but the driver/guide were clearly cold so kept it off on the return journey, which made it uncomfortable for the passengers. All in all it was a good trip.
