Day trip diving - superb experience

Completed my first recreational dives here since passing my open water back in the UK. Guided today by Eirini and Yiorgos.

Had the best time guys, thank you for making it great.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blue Water Diving if you're looking for diving in Crete. Really made everything easy.

Open water course for 11 year old daughter

I came across Blue Adventures as I was looking for somewhere abroad for my eleven year old daughter Amy to finish her open water course. She had done all the pool work but was particularly nervous about going in the sea. She is also slightly on the spectrum and sometimes reacts unexpectedly to situations so I was very concerned about finding the right person with whom to entrust my daughter. I emailed a few places around the Med but Blue Adventures in Crete came back to me very quickly. Over the following weeks I inundated them with questions and concerns which they answered comprehensively and patiently so we decided to go for it. We arrived in Chanos in the afternoon, and as they are open till late we popped in to say hi. We were met by Gina and Anna and Spiros the owner, (an ex-champion free diver) and learned that it was a family business and that his son, Konstantinos would be my daughters instructor. The following morning, we returned and Konstantinos was keen to go over the whole practical course work from scratch to fully assess her. The first lesson was conducted in a bay a two-minute walk away. Crystal and still, waist deep water, perfect for her to get used to the new saltwater environment. Amy responded very well to him, completed the days exercises with the added bonus of a short 25-minute swim around the bay where she saw her first fish and an eel. After this first day I would have been happy to walk away and let them get on with it but as I was ‘piggy backing’ her lessons as needed a refresher (I have not dived for a number of years) so I got to participate. The first two days’ work were conducted in this bay and the third and fourth days he took us out on one of their boats to different and deeper dive sites. (The speed boat trip alone was worth the trip for Amy!) She completed all the exercises and had her first proper dives down to 10m and saw a variety of fish. Altogether I couldn’t have asked for a better more patient teacher and I really have nothing negative to say about the experience at all. I am not a particularly experienced diver and sometimes find dive centres a little daunting but it was such a lovely atmosphere at Blue Adventures that if you are at all apprehensive about diving for yourself or for your kids this is the place to come.

Been diving with these guys in 2017 and now again in 2023. Strong recommendation to Blue Adventures Diving. Professional and friendly staff, excellent knowledge about the area and great fun dives! Definitely will dive with them again when back in Chania.

First time diving since before Covid. The team provided a great refresher course and provided a fantastic re-intro to diving after 4 years.

Great Dive Center and Memorable dives

An incredible experience from start to end. Very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable staff. From the moment you walk into the center, everything is organized and ready for the day, all the equipment is new and well maintained.

We intended to do 1 dive trip, but with easy access to the sites and the great experience, we spent 2 days with the team. I would encourage anyone wishing to experience some caverns in a safe and controlled environment to join Blue Adventures for a couple of dives!

Can't thank the team enough for a very memorable weekend.

Beginner Scuba

I took my sister scuba diving here with Dimitris. This is my third time doing a discover course but my sister’s first time. This was the best beginner course by far. Very well explained. Not rushed. Lots of preparation involved. My sister said it was the best part of our two week vacation.

I love this family business. We were in very good hands. It was my first dive, but my group were all veterans. I felt very comfortable and even met a large octopus!

Amazing experience with this dive shop!! The guide was patient and knowledgeable - handled ear problems with extra attention and time. One of our favorite dives we’ve done across the world, with breathtaking cavern and wall dives! Can’t wait to return

Fundives with blue adventures

I did two fun dives. Wery professional and good dive shop. Good quality
Dive gear and good breefing before the dives. The dive sites where ~15min from the harbour. Seal cave dive siten was the best dive I've done in greece. I would dive with them again.

Excellent, Professional Dive Centre

We had 2 very good dives with Blue Adventures today, they're a professional outfit with great kit and really good instructors. We were told before the dive that the marine life isn't great around Chania but the cave diving makes up for it and they were 100% correct. There aren't tons of fish to see but the amazing caves and swim throughs made the dives a lot of fun. I'd definitely recommend Blue Adventures if you're looking to dive in Chania.
