We all had a great day in the water , the team there are fantastic. Friendly , passionately sharing their knowledge and experience . And the location and facilities are superb.

Booked the discover scuba diving day for my wife and me. We were given clear directions to the dive center and a price upfront via email. There are 0 hidden costs and the price was extremely reasonable for what we received! (The only additional cost is for professional photographs, which I highly recommend)
When we arrived we were greeted and had the layout of the facilities explained, along with what we would be doing for the day. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they also speak several languages (English, French, German, Greek - all spoken during our visit!).
We filled out one form, and then received a very informative briefing about the basics of diving (including safety), what to expect, the sea life we may encounter, and exactly how our dive would play out.
This was so comforting. You get your own instructor by your side through the whole session!
We were helped into the water, and given time to get accustomed to the equipment, then when we were happy we set off out into the bay.
We were shown plenty of fish, coral, and other sea creatures. We opted for the photographer for and did not regret!
When we got back to the surface, we were assisted out of the water, and allowed to continue either snorkeling or swimming in the bay for as long as we wished. Again - all equipment provided.
The hotel above has a restraunts, pool and bar that you're also free to use.
This really was a wonderful experience, and has made us want to continue our diving journey when we get home.
I would 100% return to Kalypso and plan to in the future.

A dream to see the coral & witness marine life in real. A very reassuring team with fantastic briefing from instructor,Costas.Family of 4 with 12 & 9 y first time scuba diving, 2 oldies with no swimming experience whatsoever were supported individually by friendly instructors,Yunis,Kashia,Theo & Costas.
We were picked & dropped back to our hotel
The place itself is a nature's beauty surrounded by rocky mountains and the Libyan Sea.
Highly recommend this centre with added benefits of multi lingual staff.

Took the whole family (of 5) snorkling with Kalypso. They picked us up from the Iberostar Panorama & Mare on the north side of the island on time at 8 am and drove us to the dive centre on the south side in just under an hour. There we were equiped with good kit including wetsuits and received a very good briefing - they are .a diving school after all. We were then taken on a guided snorkle tour a few steps from the dive centre which took about 50 mins. We then had the rest of the time to chill or use the issued kit to snorkle again - which we did.
The weather was not great the day we were there with a strong wind but the bay is sheltered so it was not a problem.
The centre team were friendly, efficient, professional and the equipment was good. They are also impressively multi-lingual with briefings /translations in Greek, English, Polish, Dutch, German the day we were there. There were 6 othe people there that day doing a mixture of try dives.
After we finished snokling we took a wander around and could use the facilities of the Kalypso Resort which were nice. We also enjoyed the drive over and back as it was nice to see the centre of the island and (as I was sitting up front) quiz the driver a bit about it, as well as stop to take some pictures at a gorge.
We were back at the hotel for about 3 pm.
Would strongly recommend for anyone wanting to try snorkling or diving for the first time. (May be great for other diving too but I did not see that - certainly the staff came over very well.)

It was an amazing experience I was a beginner diver and felt safe and well educated throughout the whole experience, I am now hooked on scuba diving and can't wait for my next dive the team friendly and knowledgeable of their trade my 11 year old daughter dived with me again a beginner and I felt at ease she was in good hands and she thoroughly enjoyed it, a well deserved "excellent" rating would recommend highly 👍✌️

Jede/r einzelne Taucher/in hat eine/n persönliche/n Tauchlehrer/in. Jede/r Tauchlehrer/in kümmert sich nur um seine/n Schüler/in. Es wird alles sehr gut erklärt und im flachen Wasser geübt, bevor dann ein Tauchgang in einer ruhigen Bucht gemacht wird bei dem man ein paar Meter tief tauchen kann. Es gibt verschiedene Fische zu sehen. Man wird im Hotel abgeholt und am Ende auch wieder zurückgebracht. Meine Frau war das allererste Mal Tauchen und sehr zufrieden.

I did the SCUBA diving for beginners with a one to one instructor. I was really pleased with the day. The team looked after you and went through the whole process slowly. It was a bonus that you could keep some of the equipment for the day after the dive so that you could go snorkelling. I also appreciated that my partner could accompany me, although not diving and still enjoy the benefits of the hotel. Saw some fantastic fish! Would recommend, especially for beginners.

Tolles Erlebnis. Meine Tochter (18) und ich hatten einen wunderbares Taucherlebnis.
Die Tauchcrew ist sehr aufmerksam und 1 zu 1 (jeder Taucher hat seinen eigenen Tauchlehrer) Betreuung gibt absolute Sicherheit.
Abholung im Hôtel ist sehr angenehm.

If you decide to book our snorkeling tour you first have a little fish identification lesson on the beach so you can recognise some of the fish you are likely to see, followed by a one hour guided tour of our private bay. After this you get to keep the equipment for the rest of the day so you can go back and explore any areas of interest.
The cost of the day is €45.00 each.
During the day you are welcome to use all the facilities at the Kalypso Hotel and these include: 3 swimming pools, restaurant, bar, snack bar, volley ball courts, showers and toilets. There is a small fee for the hire of sunbeds and parasols.
We do not have a credit card machine so we ask you to pay cash on the day.

The guided snorkeling tour costs €39.50 for adults and includes hire of all the equipment and a one hour guided tour of our private bay. After that you get to keep the equipment for the rest of the day and can go back and explore anything of interest that you saw.

J'aimerais savoir le prix pour deux personnes pour la semaine du premier août n'ayant jamais fait de plongée. La durée du parcours aussi, également savoir s'il y a des restrictions sur la taille et le poids ? ou si tout le monde peut en faire.
