today i went to the mikros aselinos beach on my moped and had a very nice ride coming from the north, which brings on more dirt than dirt road, was fun...
when it was time for lunch i went up to the little taverna and had a wonderful experience...
it was like a time machine, like when i was island hopping in the eighties (last century
:-)
the generator was humming in the background, like it did when there was no electricity on the remote beaches..
the self service , to order drinks and food at the "hole in the wall" ...
AND they served the REPI beer, that i had been searching for all week :-)
both the sallad and my "small fried fish" was just perfect, and so was the view!
thanks for perfect day on the beach!
if you like a little less bumps on the road, try to come there from the south...

Spiaggia attrezzata con anche uno spazio libero, molto tranquilla. Raggiungibile attraverso una strada sterrata nella pineta (con il motorino non ho avuto problemi) e un piccolo sentiero a piedi. 10€ per ombrellone e due lettini. Ha anche un bar con varietà di piatti e un bagno pulito.

Spiaggia splendida per chi cerca riposto e relax, c’è un taverna molto carina dove poter mangiare durante la permanenza in spiaggia. Ottima per chi vuole fare snorkelling

Luogo selvaggio e non difficilissimo da raggiungere dopo un breve sentiero a piedi.
Si consiglia per arrivare auto.
Prezzi economici, 10€ due lettini e un ombrellone.

A magical place! Sparkling beach with amazing stones flecked with silvery mica. just gorgeous and the beach cafe is fab, beautiful fresh food and friendly service.

Υπέροχη παραλία. Φανταστικοί μεζέδες στην καντίνα. Νοστιμότατα σουβλάκια κοτόπουλο, κεφτεδάκια και τραγανές τηγανητές πατάτες.

Più bella di Megalos, si arriva passando tra gli alberi, molto selvaggia. Sulla spiaggia c’è un lido dove possibile noleggiare ombrellone e lettini a €10 e anche mangiare. Il cibo molto buono, tipico!
Nel pomeriggio vengono le anatre a cercare un po’ di cibo.

In order to get there be prepared to travel a while on a dusty dirtroad and afterwards a steep but easily doable descent from the road via a small footpath - but believe me the experience / beach is worth it :-)
We enjoyed the very clear and calm water (on windy days it has quite some waves) and our snorkeling there.
Regarding amenities the beach has a small beachbar with a toilet, a decent number of umbrellas / sunbeds and even a small shower.
Regarding the beachbar the food compared to similar beachbars is above average.
All in all one of our top 3 beaches on Skiathos.

Η καλύτερη παραλία του νησιού! Έχει λιγο περπάτημα αλλά αυτό που βλέπεις σε αποζημιώνει. Η καντίνα είναι οτι καλύτερο υπάρχει! Οτι πήραμε ηταν τέλειο!! Καλυτερα να φάτε εκεί και να πιείτε την παγωμένη τοπική μπύρα. Αξίζει περισσότερο από παντού γιατί το φαγητό στο νησί ειναι υπερτιμημένο χωρίς λόγο.

Amazing isolated beach with some sunbeds. Excellent food at the snack bar highly reccomended…just 30 min drive from Skiathos city

how long is the walk from the parking at the road to the beach. And is it a steep path?

10 minutes. Yes it is a path quite steep but you have to pay attention a little. It is absolutely not dangerous. Today there is a young pregnant woman, she have done it without problems.
