My favourite club in Melbourne for good techno and great people. Never bumped into a single person here I didn't like, felt really safe and inclusive. It has a really good mix of events and the upper floor overlooking second stage feels like you're in Scarface, such a gem!

So got chatting to a bloke that turned out to be one of the owners of this joint and found out this place has recently changed hands to these new owners and during lockdowns they were hard at work. Because this place is bangin now!! After reading a tonne of bad reviews, we weren't really sure what we were in for. But their hard work has paid off because we are for sure gonna be coming back, if not for another big one on the weekend, then we will be back for a few cheeky after work drinks one evening. The guys down there have opened up 'Kepler's Yard' where they say they have live music and DJs, even trivia nights during the week and a 3am licence I think he said. The cocktail list looked pretty cool so can't wait to come back to try them. Only advice I have for people is to ignore previous reviews, these boys clearly no what they're doing, you won't be disappointed.

24 Moons isn't a great venue. Located just outside the heart of High Street in Northcote among residential apartments and a warehouse. Has a sleazy, try hard atmosphere. Not worth a visit.

If you want to head to the worst venue that Melbourne has to offer go to 24 moons.
Its a comedy show and not for the right reasons. The venue has a strange atmosphere! Even the staff members are strange! The atmosphere is weird weird weird! The only people that attend are a small amount of misfits.
Do not enter!

We had a free Sunday night and thought we would catch some Stand Up. A bit of internet searching turned up this place. We pre-purchased our tickets and for under $40 we got entry for two, 2 free cocktails (alcoholic) and 2 plates of dim sum. Dirt cheap! (check the website http://new.24moons.com.au)
We got there at about 5 and were warmly welcomed (nice change) by a bloke who turned out to be the MC for the night. I got talking to the barman who turned out to be the owner. Nice guy and very helpful. Drinks sere reasonably priced and the place was well run and tidy.
The place is an old Strip Club, so has a kinda cool feel to it. Perfect for Stand Up, The Comedians were great, as was the MC.
They have heaps of different drinks and beer on tap at reasonable prices.
There is a tram stop not far from the door also which is a bonus.
It's a new place that only opened in December 2014, so if you have a free night I recommend you give it a go.
