En hiver , derniere visite à 11H15 pour le château qui ferme à 11H30. les jardins ferment à 12h. Cela rouvre à 14h; deux heures pour manger trop cool. On voit que c'est l'état

Castle visited recently with an incredible setting especially in good weather. I have visited several castles in the region, this is the one I prefer for its beauty. I recommend it if you want to be dazzled. There is a beautiful collection of tiles inside. The garden and the view is of all beauty.

Château intéressant. Les intérieurs possèdent une très belle collection de tableaux des aristocrates du 17eme siècle. Le jardin est très joli également.

Un joli château où il fait bon se promener. Notre guide nous a passionnément présenté les différents personnages liés à l'histoire du château avec anecdotes, extraits de littérature et portraits. Une aile est en réfection mais à l'issue nous serons heureux de revenir y passer un moment.
La vue des jardins est magnifique. Si vous passez dans le coin, n'hésitez pas.

Faire plusieurs heures de route sur un voyage planifié depuis des semaines pour se retrouver devant une pancarte "fermeture exceptionnelle" ce mardi de septembre fut une expérience déplaisante. Une mise à jour des horaires sur site et sur google pour annoncer la fermeture aurait pris 5 minutes, dommage.
Nous avons fait demi-tour après une demie heure d'attente sur le parking en plein soleil, comme les gens qui s'étaient également déplacés pour le voir. Quelle erreur de ma part de ne pas avoir été vérifier sur le portail dès le début, la région du coin nous ayant un peu habitué à ce genre de mésaventure au dernier moment.

Nous avons apprécié la visite guidée du château, enrichissante, l’Histoire contée par un jeune homme passionné qui fait preuve d’un grand professionnalisme dont nous gardons un très bon souvenir. Visite incontournable. Félicitations.

Brilliantly presented and multilingual which isn’t always the way in France. Extraordinary history and story and worth a visit. Have lunch at La place Rabutin outside the chateau. The current exhibition is Les portraits d’âmes Jean-Baptiste Boyer. Dark, brutal and well done whilst using the chateau rooms as a backdrop

The castle was under restauration. Fortunately we could visit a part of it inside and could freely walk around the pretty park with the nice ponds. Friendly staff at the place.

Hi - I know the Château is closed midday, like many sites in rural France. I'm wondering if only the actual building is closed until 2pm or if the grounds - including the gardens - are closed as well.
