The highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi!

We visited the wildlife park were we got picked up at rovaniemi and drove for one hour. During our drive the guide named Tanya told us a lot of interesting facts about Finland and the park where we were going to, so we got really excited about where we were going! In the park she told us a lot of facts about the animals and it was really nice to hear another perspective on these animals and where they have been to and been through aswell. During the entire tour she kept us entertained and we really enjoyed this tour, we would even say that this tour was the highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi! At the end I forgot my sunglasses in the car so I quickly called the bureau and within 10 minutes she came back to give them to me. The service was impeccable and I will definitely make use of Northic Adventures when I come back!

A true sauna experience, amazing dinner!

This experience was absolutely one of our very favorite during our trip to Finland, Norway and Sweden. It was our first time in an authentic sauna, and then the cold outside, and the icy lake. The sauna was incredible, the moist heat felt wonderful, and adding the provided essential oil in was just perfect. Thank you to Alex who had prepared the sauna to be just at the right temperature when we stepped in. I thought it would be really cold outside when we went out for a break, but it felt amazing. It was a beautiful evening and my favorite place was the swing right outside the sauna where I could gently swing and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the quiet sounds of nature, before heading back into the sauna. When it was time to head into the house for dinner, the fragrant aromas of Tanya's kitchen met us. We knew that there was a delight awaiting us! And, it was! Tanya had prepared a delicious feast of salmon, potatoes, and red pepper strips with a dill sauce that was incredible. And, cookies!! All of this dining inside their sweet home on the lake. After dinner, Alex and Tanya came back in the house and we visited for a while, asking them questions and they sharing a verbal and tangible picture of their life here. It was an incredible evening and one that I would definitely, definitely return to if ever back in this area!! Alex and Tanya, thank you for this wonderful experience!

Cozy experience

It was one of the high light of my 2022. It was in a forest. Very dark but cozy small lights were there in the hut. The sauna was simple and rustic. I took the sauna with 4 other people. Because of the small space, I felt a nice closeness with other people who I'd never met. The awesome part was sinking into the icy lake. I felt full of cool air in my lung. It was very refreshing. After the sauna, they provided us with a full meal of dinner. I thought was a snack but a dinner. Needless to say, it was delicious. All staff members were nice and well-attended. Thanks, Alex. I enjoyed having a conversation with you. I could understand Lapland culture little bit.

The highlight of our trip to Finland!
Great experience! Private and beautiful surrounds. The wood fired sauna and icy lake were fantastic! The owners of the house were lovely, friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The traditional Finnish food organised in the end was great and very tasty. Super recommend it!

Je ne peux que recommander les yeux fermés!!
Expérience incroyable, en petit groupe donc ça c’est génial et notre guide Pedro, était incroyable! Et on top of that, nous avons eu la chance de voir des aurores boréales !! Incroyable

Amazing auroras
Alex was an amazing host and taught us so much about Finnish culture and the auroras. We were lucky enough to see the lights and had amazing photo opportunities.

Unique experience

This was an amazing experience. Our guides Pedro and Nicolai were excellent. The suits may feel a little claustrophobic to some. You have to be gentle when entering the water to keep dry, but once in it is quite relaxing to just float there. Unfortunately, there were no northern lights visible when we were there, but very enjoyable.

Génial !
Ça a été une expérience magique avec Alex, un excellent guide, qui est à l'écoute et vraiment avec vous lors de l'activité. C'est une entreprise familiale qui fait tout pour rendre l'instant inoubliable. La flottaison était très relaxante et nous n’avons (presque) pas ressenti le froid. L’endroit est vraiment excentré et calme, parfait pour passer un moment agréable. Nous avons eu le droit à une collation devant un feu de cheminée et pleins d’explications sur la Laponie pendant que nous nous réchauffions. Ne voyant pas d'aurores boréales lors de l'activité, Alex nous a emmené à deux autres endroits d’où nous avons finalement pu les voir. C'était vraiment une soirée géniale !

THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

We were unsuccessful Aurora hunting on the day before, but thought we've came this far, we'd give it another try. Our guide Robin was WONDERFUL! Robin is a local native, had sharp eyes for Aurora, and knew his way around. He took us to his "spot", and we saw the most amazing Aurora! What an experience! Robin was fun and polite, great with our kids too! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
The photos were taken with just my phone, we looking forward to the photos Robin took of us and the Aurora.

Wir sagen DANKE! Wir wollten telefonisch unsere Rückfragen klären und wurden absolut kompetent beraten.
Zu der Rückfrage bezüglich einer Husky Tour hat man uns ausführlich erklärt, warum es nicht empfehlenswert ist als schwangere Person.
Darüber waren wir sehr dankbar, da wir bisher keine Erfahrungen dazu hatten.
Darüber hinaus wollten wir eine Nordlichter Tour buchen, um auf Lichterjagd zu gehen. Der nette Herr am Telefon hat hinterfragt in welchem Hotel wir sind und hat uns dann darauf hingewiesen, dass direkt an unserem Hotel ein großer See ist, mit einer großen Chance auf Polarlichter.
Hier hätte man mit uns in einer Schnelligkeit 500 -700 EUR verdienen können und man hat bewusst auf Beratung und ein ordentliches Miteinander gesetzt.
Das finden wir gerade in der heutigen Zeit sehr besonders. Wir können dieses Unternehmen nur weiterempfehlen - wer so ehrlich ist, kann nur hervorragende Touren machen!! DANKE !
