The performance lasted long enough for us each to enjoy our turn driving (about 1 hour each). Riding in these snowy landscapes was very enjoyable.
The breaks allowed us to take pictures.
The little hot drink break was a plus.
The instructions were clear and our guide attentive and helpful.

My family and I relied completely on lapland welcome for a 4 day holiday in Rovaniemi. Excellent organization, wonderful excursions, apartment in a beautiful location, competent guides and always on time. Thanks to Simo and his collaborators for making this holiday unforgettable.

Very friendly guide, everything well explained and repeatedly questioned, very considerate. Very nice long ride through the tundra, extended the tour on request. It was wonderful! The snowmobiles were very easy to use. Possibly the hint to the participants that the handles get hot during the ride and thicker gloves are necessary.

We were fully accompanied by the crew of LaplandWelcome for the complete week of our stay in Lapland.
We are a family of 5 and have been planning and preparing for this trip for a full year!
We got our week planner. Full of activities. We were picked up from the Airport and brought back to the Airport. We did not have to worry about anything. Our activities were
Santa Village
Snowmobile excursion with a BBq in a teepee.
Auroas Borealis watch with dinner. (The absolute gem of the trip can not find words to describe)
Day hike along the frozen Waterfalls
Visit to Reindeer and Husky farms
Visit to the Arctic Snow Hotel
Ice Karting
Skiing in floodlights slopes
A very warm and cozy Christmas Eve.
It was perfect. We really thank the whole team. They were out and above to help us and make our week memorable. Super special thanks to Nana, she took us to Santa village, Reeta for the absolute incredible hike to the waterfalls and sharing with us life in Lapland. Alex that helped resolve all transportation problems that appeared. And Oli our driver for several of the trips.
An absolute lifetime memory. Thank you!

The ice fishing trip with **Lapland Welcome** in Rovaniemi was absolutely incredible! 🎣❄️ From the warm welcome to the expert guidance, everything was perfectly organized. Drilling through the ice on a stunning frozen lake surrounded by snowy landscapes was both thrilling and peaceful. 🌨️✨
The guide’s knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience fun and engaging, even for beginners. A highlight was gathering around a fire for a cozy barbecue with tasty local snacks—such a memorable touch! 🔥🍴 The provided thermal gear kept us warm, and the three-hour duration was just right.
Whether you catch a fish or not (we were lucky to have 5 catches and then released them ofc!), this adventure is about immersing yourself in Lapland’s magical winter wonderland. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rovaniemi! 🌟

First of all, I have to say that the drivers and guides were excellent and tried to do their best despite the chaotic boss, his bad manners, disorganization and lack of confidence in his workers ruined our experience, specially the last day, when due to the boss’ lack of organization and vindicative behavior made us nearly miss our fight. I will not recommend this company to anyone

I am sorry your transfer was booked to Minnie who didn't do it and didn't report about it. Alternative transfer was organized. We had a lot of guest in this New Year and everything worked perfectly in Rovaniemi.

We had an amazing experience of cross country skiing for the first time. Our guide was very friendly, informative and tailored the tour well to suit more experienced skiers alongside a beginner group. Would recommend!

Hi, I was wondering with daily activities that you went on were you put with groups of other people who might have booked just day-only tours through Welcome Lapland? For example when you were looking for the Northern lights- were you with a group of other people on a bus or was it more individual ? Thanks

We were on a large coach with many other people! but very well organised, not much waiting around. Not much time at each place though, however they are happy to let you stay and get a taxi back.

Is December best time to see northern lights

In fact the northern lights are already visible from late aug to late march. Many people assume Nov or Dec to be the best time. Perhaps due to the long night with less light pollution. However winter u have alot more activities to do like dog sledding n snow mobile n ice fishing. To see the NL u need luck, high activity , no cloud n during the new moon period. Good luck!

they would provide some guidance as lookout etc ... but camera is your own. do have a sturdy tripod for better pictures

Hi! I was inveited to attend a meeting in Helsinki on 22-26 Oktober. I am thinking about to go to Rovaniemi from 26-28th, maybe taking the Santa Claus Express (my flight back is 29th). I saw that Lapland Welcome is very well evaluated at Trip Advisor. Are there some excursions that I can do on these two days? I really would like to see the lights... Thanks!

May I ask if your company will be able to provide tripods, as i did not bring one with me?. I'm arriving Rovaniemi this Tuesday afternoon and plan to enrol for a northern lights tour (several hour long one but nothing overnight) the same evening. Thanks
