This ticked off one on our bucket list. From the dog sled ride to walking around and seeing the dogs. We then were served salmon soup and given a post card to take home. This something worth doing highly recommend.

Increíble experiencia. Ha sido lo mejor de todo el viaje. No te puedes ir de Finlandia sin hacer esta actividad. En bearhill huskies se nota que la salud y seguridad de los perros es lo primero. Tori ha sido una fantástica guía.

What an amazing experience with Pawel and Kristina today! From start to finish, the Bearhill Tour Running with the Pack was an absolute highlight of my trip.
The huskies are incredible—strong, full of energy, and so well taken care of. Pawel and Kristina are fantastic guides; their passion for the dogs and the experience is contagious. They made sure everyone felt comfortable, shared great stories.
If you love dogs, adventure, and unique experiences, this is a must-do. Highly recommend!

What and awesome experience 😍 We had a guide Kristyna and Pawel 😍 we gad such a lovely time, weather was awesome ride was really cool and in the end we could pet all the dogs 🤍they were so lovely 😘😍 definitely would recommend this experience to everyone ❤️❤️❤️

Christina was our guide and she did a spectacular job educating us on the life of the dogs and all that Bearhill Husky Tours does for all involved. They love their dogs and it shows. I love that there was a mom husky that had pups and they asked us kindly not to go near the kennel so not to stress the mother husky. That was honorable. I also enjoyed the excitement of the dogs anxious to get out and run. It made me emotional. If only we could all be that joyful about life!

It was a wonderful experience—the nature, riding over frozen lakes, and the dogs, who seemed to enjoy it just as much as we did! Even with small children (3 and 4 years old), it is absolutely recommended. The kids fell in love with the dogs and got to pet and cuddle them extensively.
Our guide, Tori, was super friendly, answered all our questions, and took her time with us.
We will definitely come back!

Es war ein unglaubliches Erlebnis, eines von den Dingen im Leben, die man nie wieder vergisst! 👍🏻🤩
Ich hatte Geburtstag und deshalb um so schöner. … es war von Anfang alles positiv! Die nette Begrüßung das lustige Anzug anziehen, unser toller Guide Tori haben alles perfekt gemacht. Wir bekamen eine tolle Einweisung und wurden dann zu unserem Schlitten geführt, es war eine Gruppe mit fünf Schlitten jeweils zu zweit besetzt. Ich war sehr aufgeregt, aber dies legte sich nach der Abfahrt und es war einfach spektakulär. Wir hatten tollen Schnee, super liebe Hunde und eine tolle Route durch den finnischen Schnee und Landschaft und sind um und über einen See gefahren. In der Hälfte der Zeit haben wir gestoppt und ein Fahrerwechsel gemacht, so dass beide Personen einmal den Schlitten lenken konnten alles im allem einfach top und 100 % zu empfehlen. Auch der Umgang mit den Tieren war super. Es war etwas wärmer, so dass ein Guide ständig an der Seite saß und geschaut hat, ob es den Tieren gut ging und wir haben auch mehrere kurze Pausen für die Tiere eingelegt. Das Fazit: immer immer wieder mit dieser tollen Firma und natürlich Tori! 👍🏻🤩🤩

Wir wurden morgens direkt am K-Markt eingesammelt - wir sind mit dem eigenen PKW gefahren. Sehr zu empfehlen, da man so als letztes eingesammelt und als erstes rausgelassen wird.
Schon der Transfer-Fahrer war sehr nett, wie fast alle Finnen, die wir getroffen haben.
Auf der Rache geht es direkt zur kurzen Vorstellungsrunde mit unserem Guide (in diesem Fall Tori aus Deutschland) und einem der älteren Huskies (15 Jahre alt war die Dame). Super nett und zutraulich - der Husky :-)
Dann schnell umgezogen: Overall, Schuhe, Handschuhe -- alles wird gestellt.
Ab zum Rudel und rauf auf die Schlitten. Los gehts.
Das Schlittenfahren ist schnell gelernt, da es nur wenige Regeln gibt und eigentlich gibt es nur bremsen oder laufen lassen - alles easy!
Herrliche Landschaft und schöne Ausfahrt - absolut empfehlenswert.
Lieben Dank an das ganze Team und insbesondere Tori.

Amazing experience, the staff were really nice and welcoming. There was hot juice and cookies provided in the hut after to warm up. My son loved petting the beautiful dogs, would highly recommend.

I am wondering if you could give some advice please
We are looking at booking the huddles ride happy trail for 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 9. Unfortunately the only time slots that you have available are 215pm for the time we visit 20th -23rd December
Please advise of light conditions at this time?
Would we be better booking the longer trail as you have 9am available but my daughter is 6 and I worry it would be too much.

Hello, and thank you for your question!
For families with children we tend to recommend the Happy Trail which is the 2,5 hour program with 45 minute husky safari. This very suitable when travelling with smaller children.
If your children are already older and could handle sitting in the sled for 1,5 hours during the Call of the Wild husky safari, it is also an option.
Although children get cold faster hence we would recommend the Happy Trail husky safari for families with children.

Our Yurt at the arctic circle is open till 1500. And opens at 1000. It’s quite close, so you should be able to have a ride

There are dog sleigh (husky), reindeer pull sleigh rides that you could consider at Santa Claus village. Believe snow mobile rides are available too.

It is possible. Children 0-3 years old travel free. 4-14 are discounted. I don’t know who told you no. But at Bearhill, small kids are welcome. Best to book a shorter tour though and dress then very, very warmly

Hello - i just saw your message. We are going to Rovaniemi in 5 days and everytime itry to book something, they say there is no snow!!! Going with a 3 and 5 year old. Any recommendations on what CAN be done in case they still don't have enough snow other than the huskies? Thanks.

You can visit Santa park, some of the short activities at Santa Village are open. Ice fishing and sauna is also option. Santa’s adventures organizes some interesting stuff as well. Our dogs are already working so they can be booked

How did people get on with children under 4? We are considering going with grand children 12, 6, and 3
What is the optimum journey for this age group? We really wanted to go into the Arctic circle but not sure if it is suitable or practical. We will be going in December.
