This was my second gifted trip to One Wybelenna in the last 2 years. My first visit was quite a delightful surprise, beautiful surroundings and use of facilities.
Unfortunately I was not as impressed with my recent experience. Apart from the fact that the treatments are hugely expensive, I was not offered any of the benefits of the facilities. I selected the ' Signature Radiance Ritual.' $350 for 2 hrs 15 mins and not a minute more.
My therapist, who I don't remember her even introducing herself, was late. She was very pleasant and in essence I was happy with most of my treatment. I followed her into the room, stripped to my undies, laid on the table for the treatment. I was offered a tea before and after. Last time I was offered a wine to enjoy while relaxing in the pool for 30 mins prior to treatment. Not sure what changes have been made to the treatments. I didn't need the wine but it is a nice luxury when you're there to enjoy the atmosphere as well as the treatment. I used absolutely nothing other than a toilet. I didn't use a robe, slippers shower, nothing. So the $350 seemed an excessive amount for a massage, facial and hair treatment.
The massage really hit the spot and I'm a hard marker when it comes to massage. Having had spinal surgery some years ago has left me with a lot of muscular skeletal tension, I felt the relief from this treatment today. At no time were the products being used introduced to me or described even though I was offered them for sale after the treatment.
The facial was as most facials are so I can't say it was out of the ordinary?
The hair treatment was basic. No head massage with it unfortunately. I was advised to leave the treatment in overnight for best results. I left there with what felt like a whole tub of hand cream through my hair, which proceeded to set solid, leaving me with a helmet head to sleep in! Not one of my more pleasant experiences. Not again for me.
Both times I have been given a mid to late afternoon appointment which, living completely on the opposite edges of Brisbane takes away all the pleasure by the stress of driving home, in the dark, through peak hour traffic! My problem.
All in all, the surroundings are rather beautiful but I do believe not value for money when not everyone is offered the full use of the facilities available. A warm robe to sit it to enjoy the final cup of tea in privacy with time to relax after the treatment would have been appreciated and a benefit. Instead of that, get dressed and come to reception lounge, with a wet head, to sit there for a sales pitch while you have a tea.
Won't be recommending and won't be going back.

I made an advance booking last year for yesterday. At the time I booked they asked me to reply to their email with my details which I did. However, when I arrived yesterday they said I didn’t have a booking. My email shows that the email was sent however they said they never received it. Overall it was such a waste of time and their booking system is rubbish. They didn’t even apologise and made it seem like it was my fault.

What an amazing yet unexpected place to relax & unwind to in the middle of the suburbs! It is easy to get to, plenty of space to park your car & a great place to share with your bestie, family member or partner.
I was lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for my birthday & OW made it very easy to communicate via email & I booked a 1 hour Custom Facial & Mint Foot Soother with Beauty Therapist Ally.
From the moment I walked in, the space took my breath away - even on this rainy day! I was greeted straight away & offered a tea & to sit where I felt comfortable - I honestly couldn’t decide where to sit as it was all so overwhelming between the view, pool & fire place, it was a lot to take in! After filling out my form, Ally came & greeted me then lead me outside to another space to show me our beauty room - she was very personable & friendly & fully recommend her!
The room was so spacious! Ally explained where the bathroom was & the wardrobe to put my personal belongings in. As she left the room, she lowered the automatic blinds for more privacy. We then started with the Mint Foot Soother & she went through the form I had filled out so we were on the same page with my skin concerns & the results I wanted. We had a lovely chat about how OW became & her love for the place! Ally combined both my treatments in a way so that they flowed well together which I thought was really nice. By the end of our nearly 2 hour treatment, my skin felt revived! I felt relaxed & that knot I didn’t know I had in my neck was gone!
Ally told me to take my time to get change while she prepared some water & tea for me back at the main house. As I walked out of the room, she was actually waiting for me at the end of the path to check I was ok which was very sweet. She then showed me a booklet where she wrote down all the products she had used on my skin & we had a look through all the products together. She specifically took note of products missing in my beauty routine & at no time did I feel pressured to purchase any of the products. I loved that the product showing was very interactive as she showed me how she applied the products by demonstrating them on my hand & even taking me to the bathroom to show how to use the cleanser. I also like how the products are not readily available as they don’t want clients buying the products for the sake of it & using them all incorrectly. It’s reassuring to know every staff member is a Beauty Therapist so you can be sure you’re asking the right person about each product & treatment every time.
I will be back & highly recommend this sanctuary to everybody. It’s a great experience that all should enjoy.

Like many I was given a gift voucher to this beautiful spot. From the moment you walk through the front door it becomes obvious that a great deal of thought was put in to building this property. It has a relaxed and peaceful feel to it and the staff are lovely. It’s more than just a quick, cheap massage or facial but more of an experience. It’s a destination. Would be perfect to go with a friend to make it complete, finishing off with a cuppa and a chat. I would highly recommend this venue, and for a special occasion it’s perfect.

Recently I purchased a voucher for my friend for her birthday to attend One Wybelenna for a relaxing afternoon. We both went together and were booked in for a Mukha Chikitsa - facial treament - but we had paid for the upgraded 90 minute treatment which included a back and neck massage. We were told arrive 15 minutes before our treatment time so we would be ready for the 3pm start. We arrived 20 minutes early but weren't approached by our therapists for our treatment until 3:10pm. By the time we then got out room and got changed etc out treatment didn't start until 3:20pm. The extra 30 minute upgrade we'd paid for in the form of a massage turned out to be a quick 10-15 minute massage. Then the facial began and a lot of time was spent washing the equipment bowls they'd used and opening and closing cupboards - not a lot of hands on facial massage. The treatment is also meant to include an aromatic hand and arm ritual which my friend fortunately received but my hands and arms weren't touched. The 90 minute package was fully finished by 4:20pm - only one hour after it started. To say I was left disappointed in my visit to One Wybelenna is an understatement. When you pay $225 for a treatment you expect $225 service. The facials and massages I receive at my local salon, which I attend regularly, would leave One Wybelenna for dead and they charge less. Sorry One Wybelenna but my friend and myself won't be back.

I received a treatment voucher for my birthday and what a fabulous way to celebrate it with my daughter. From the moment we arrived we were put at ease with a delicious herbal tea as we filled out our treatment details. After meeting our lovely therapists we then experienced a relaxing massage and gorgeous facial for 90 minutes. True bliss. Can’t wait to go back again. 😀

What a incredible experience.
Set just outside of Brisbane CBD and so easy to get to. Nestled into lush landscaped gardens this private estate was spectacular.
The therapists; skilled, professional, unobtrusive and perfect.

Beautiful setting with fantastic reception , treatment rooms & spa/pool area. I had a number of treatments that were great only feedback would be a locker room for storage of items and showers rather than carrying all your belongings with you ( from treatment room - to pool - to shower ) but all in all lovely experience

Loved every minute of my time here. So relaxing in a beautiful location. I spent the afternoon with a friend having the relax massage after spending 30 in the magnesium pool and spa. Would definitely go back! It was a nice treat!
