DO NOT TRUST GOOD REVIEWS
Terrible experience. Tiny enclosures for all of the animals, saw an elephant posing for pictures with tourists (obviously beaten senseless to do so), animals looked malnourished, birds demented and spinning in their goldfish bowl cages, not a zoo keeper to be seen, penguin enclosure so so dirty and far too hot. I could go on and on.
I usually don't visit zoos abroad for all of these reasons but friends wanted to go so I made sure to check lots of reviews before agreeing and they are not a true reflection!!
If you like animals, DO NOT GO

If you like birds this is the place to come. You can get a bus included from your hotel but I felt that we could have had bit longer to look round.
A bit of a cheek charging extra to handle the lemurs or get close to the elephant.But I supose the entrance fee would hardly cover the costs of running the place.The lion and tiger enclosures are a bit small by modern standards, but you could see them clearly.
Masses of parrots of all types, and a very nice parrot show.
Hens and rabbits running around freely was interesting.

We spend great time at the zoo. The bird show was really amazing! Unfortunately at the entrance we found out that the giraffe had died two weeks ago. My 6 year old daughter cried for two hours that she won't see the giraffe. The problem is that there was no information on the website when we bought the tickets. We would be prepared and not have vain expectations.

Fantastic place to visit, all of the Animals are well fed and you can see that they are well looked after …
So many different species of birds to see and learn about
The Zoo is well set out and plenty of space to move around at your own pace
Only 5 Euro’s to go in and feed the Lemur’s and well worth it..
Certainly worth a visit

The small cages and enclosures could not have been good for them, the mandrills in a small cage, lions, tigers, hyenas with very little room to roam, one lion was pacing up and down in small cage at the back. The elephant all alone in a small enclosure, the whole place was too small. On the plus side it was clean and the animals looked well cared for.

Absolutely loved this zoo.. elephant experience although alot at 50 euros was amazing, the lemur interaction was brilliant. Lovely and clean, shame the free transfers don't start untill April as we came beginning of March and was quite a mission to get to on our own but worth it. The restaurant service was excellent and very nice food. Definitely recommend.

Отличное место для детей. Очень много разных животных, чисто, уютно, очень зелено. Народу совсем немного. Доброжелательные служащие. Нам понравилось, спасибо!

Great zoo!
Six-year-old daughter was excited! In the lemur house, we adults were also as happy as small children. We also went to the bird show - definitely don't miss it! Great leaders and wonderful beasts. There is also a nice playground for children.
The internal dining area did not inspire confidence, there was a lot of food left on the tables in plates, no one came within 10 minutes, so we left.

There is a bus direct to the zoo, and it’s with the ticket. Look at the PafosZoo website:
